So I called this guy because we came to Alabama to buy a car and we were stuck because the car broke down and we were stuck right across the street from the hotel and the towing service couldn t come until the morning and the guys parking lot was like empty. There was like four cars in the whole parking lot And I asked him if there was a deposit on the room and then he insisted that I better not book anything online or come to his hotel because he s completely full and I went by the hotel and he was pretty much completely empty so do not go to this hotel . The guy at the front desk is real inconsiderate The only reason why I ask about a deposit is because I don t give deposits because like if you go to a hotel, that s owned by Indians or Arabians They will steal your money and not give your deposit back. I ve had it happen several times in Alabama and I m far from racist. I have no problem with any other culture but the majority of people that do the hotels are like Indian and ArabicSafety: Not safe because the guy denies people rooms for no reason

Om a 100 % disabled veteran. During check in I notified attendant i was traveling woth a service dog. He immediately advised me the manager would deny access. I advosed him of the ADA law & he called the manager. He dodnt gove me his name, i recorded the conversation. I was able to see the managers name when the attendant tipped his phone for me to hear the manager denial of service. Manager Rocky Patel denied me service due to my medical alert service dog. He violated my rights by insisting on a formatted "papers" and claimed he would charge the pet fee to the cash deposit he was requiring. The website doesn't state cash only deposits & this is a predatory practice. I have file a complaint with the ADA and with BBB. They have yet to refund me the money they charged for the room I had booked through priceline. I filed complaint with priceline, who stated only hotel can approve refund.Update:2/20/24 I received a letter that the ADA sent Mr Patel education materials regarding service dog rights and businesses requirement to accommodate them. I attempted to check in again. The attendant is shady with this cash deposit. Before I mentioned about the service dog he asked if I was aware of cash deposit. I said the website didn't mention it but I see the sign. I pulled out 100 as list. He said to just give him $60.00 since he was sick & not feel up to "dealing with all that". As he was about to check me in he asked if I had pets. I said I was traveling with service dog. He began to deny me the room. I informed him Mr Patel wasvalready advised by ADA on the rules. He called Mr. Patel and he seemed determined to deny me access. Mr Patel approved it & said take damages out of deposit. I said of course reasonable damages. Then he went back and forth no all damages regardless of if I thought they were reasonable. He hung up phone. The attendant appeared annoyed about the approval. While I was filing out the sign in form there is a line agreeing to 10 pet fee. Since I was going to be signing agree to terms of document, I put a line through pet fee, I initial it, & wrote service dog. The attendant said stop that, stitch the form up and told me get out he wasn't going to allow me to stay. Like I said he already made it clear he was upset about approval. He then called Mr Patel & told him he was denying my check in due to that & Mr. Patel agreed that was ok. I advised I would be filing another complaint & escalate to DOJ for possible legal actions. He shoved the towel in the window and stopped off.Noteworthy details: Cash only deposit is shady predatory practice. Hotel is a dive style and appears to only exists because of its convenient location to military base. Hotel is not compliant with ADA laws. Customer service is horrible. Hotel appears to be outdated.

Cockroaches in the room. This is the nastiest, mustiest, dirtiest, and most worthless hotel I've ever been to in the United States. Staff is unbelievably rude, not sure how they get away with it. Will try to scam you out of your money.Cockroaches in the room.Rooms: Disgusting, unfinished, hot, muggy, musty, cockroach infested.Safety: Literal health hazard

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL . I would give a -0 star if I could, this is the worst place on Earth. The outside of the hotel didn't look anything like the pictures. The manager at the front desk. Pretty much warned us when we got there.About how bad the rooms were. Told us we didn't want to stay there and the rooms didn't look anything like they did online and that there was a $100 cash deposit that I knew I wouldn't get back if I stayed there . The manager told me i'd get my money back. If I called priceline so I did and they refused to give me refund. I booked for 2 nights and didn't stay there at all so im out of that money . I ended up going to the Econo Lodge 12 minutes down the road .

This place is garbage and a scam.the owner as he said. is a thief and drug addict. when I pulled up to check in he was outside with another guy in the shadows smoking weed. They ll surprise you with $100 deposit upon checkin and when I asked if he was going to check me in outside or ..? He gets an attitude and says I don t need your funky lil $100 and proceed to flash a wad of cash. I say umm.. okay I m just trying to check in . He takes my id and then proceeds to tell me the $100 has to be in cash and the rooms don t look nothing like the pictures on the internet. He says to cancel with Expedia as he turns me away . He never answered the phone for them and refused to refund my money for 3days that I didn t stay there.

Absolutely the worst hotel in south AL. Microwave and fridge didn't work, AC unit barely blows cold air, burn marks in sheets, rooms were not clean. Toilet barely flushed. Guy that works there was very rude, even ran after me yelling and cussing all because I wrote "did not return deposit" on MY paperwork. The excuse for not giving back deposit was, as guy stated, "pet fur on floor!" I had to call Daleville Police on this guy. Definitely the worst experience ever at a hotel.

The owner is a thief, He charges you $100 deposit in cash and then everything goes wrong with the room and he refuses to do anything and tells you to leave. Dispute over a simple issue with the volume on the TV didn't work. I called the police to settle the issue because it is considered strong arm robbery when he doesn't return your money. And he returned the money when the police showed up. This place is disgusting don't go there there's the rodeway right down the street much better much cleaner and they give veteran discounts.Rooms: Disgustingly dirty The blankets and bed spread were so disgusting. The place smells horrible.Safety: It appears to be a very unsafe place especially with the owner who is all I write and gets p***** off over anything you say. He wants to start a fight with you. So you leave any won't give you deposit back. Call the police.Noteworthy details: Don't trust Oyo motels costumer service even gives you the run around my plays game.

Don't book here. Ever. The place is a scam. I've never had this experience in my life.To start, I'm not picky with hotels. I had booked online for one night because I wanted a place to lie down before continuing a drive. I attempted to check in at 11:30pm.The clerk sighed when I said I reserved online. He showed me a large stack of reservations and said that he doesn't want to go through it all with me, but there's been a price error online, and all the reservations in that stack have had the same error. He gave me a lot of push back about giving me a room, just short of saying that I couldn't have a room. Told me all the rooms were unsuitable and nothing like the pictures. Trying to convince me to leave. I said it was very late and just needed a place to sleep. He then told me that a 100 dollar cash deposit would be required, in addition to about $30 on top of what I paid the web site. He said the $30 was toward the price difference of the "error" on the hotel sites. Clearly, this is not an error as the same price is still listed online. Looking at other reviews, this appears to have been an issue close to a year now.I did not have cash on me, I rarely carry much when traveling. It was nearing midnight, and I could not find an ATM. I was told I could receive a refund from the site that I bought my stay from, but it was denied by the site! They said the hotel wouldn't approve it! All for a place I was denied a room at.Don't come here. They don't want to give you a room anyway. I highly recommend the Microtel over in Ozark. The clerks at the desk were more than accommodating and helpful, and the room was great. And for only slightly more than this hotel is advertised.I assume most people who come to Daleville are passing through, so I hope y'all read this and it saves you the hassle and the stolen money.

Worse accommodations I ve ever experienced. Zero stars if possible. Surly and rude staff to point of being argumentative and insulting. Room stank of smoke, asked for non smoking they said they had none. Room was 90 degrees upon arrival and took three hour to be tolerable. Dirty and disgusting, carpet stained to point of looking mosaic, cigarette stains all over tub. Should have slept in car. Faucets in shower pulled out of wall. Avoid at all cost. Avoid if given a free rooms

This place is TERRIBLE and shouldn t be considered to stay at anytime. We stayed in room 230 and room was very dirty. The bottom of your feet were black from the carpet. They ration your use of hot water and only give 5 towels which includes the hand towels and bath mat. So if you travel with another person you won t have enough towels. We asked for more towels 10 minutes after checking in and got accused by the owner of stealing them. The bed spread was filthy and so were the sheets. There were stains on all the towels, sheets and blankets. Nothing looked like it had been washed for quite a while. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broke in our room. There was a huge crack in the wall where it looks like someone punched it. This was one of the better rooms .There was also a pool specified but when we got there it has been filled in and has grass growing in it.The owner treats his employees terribly and won t be in business for too long the way the property is being run!We were supposed to stay 2 nights but checked out after 1 night. This place was DISGUSTING!!!

I booked my room through Priceline and when I got there the manager of the store wouldn t honor the cheaper offer I purchased online. When I called Priceline for my money back they tried to help and said the hotel needed to release the reservation. They wouldn t because I assume Priceline wanted the hotel to pay for the reservation. Long story short I had an awful experience. The person at the front desk tried to help me but I was unable to get a refund for the room or stay in it because the hotel wouldn t honor the price which is stupid. The reviews are awful anyway so I would not recommend this place.

This place was probably the worst place I ve stayed in ever. The pictures on the booking app and ratings are deceiving. Honestly thought we booked a good hotel, ended up being a roach motel. On top of that, the bathroom was disgusting, the mini fridge didn t work and One of the nights we were there, there was a huge party right next to us (pretty certain the manager was at the party, too). Please do not book this hotel. Ever.

I posted through Priceline but will add my review through Google as well.. We stayed in room 217 and the room was exactly as expected for the price. For anyone posting negative reviews, what did you expect for 50 bucks? The linens were very clean and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Everything worked properly.. Sure, it wasn't the fanciest, but we wanted cheap and simple. We would definitely be back....

This is one of those places you stay at cause you ve been driving for 10 hours and need a quick place to lay your head down. Do not expect anything to be fancy at all. The A/C unit in my room must ve been the first A/C ever created. The linens looked sketchy, the soap provided looked like it was taken from another hotel and then placed in our room. The pool is a garden (as in completely filled with dirt and grass) and the what remains of the hot tub is sealed. I slept above all the sheets and used my own toiletries and linens so I made it work but if you stay here and don t happen to have any of that I wish you good luck. I didn t see any roaches so I guess that a plus!

Would like to give an update 30 minutes into our stay. The sheet are clearly dirty, there are no towels, the microwave does not work, there is someone else s hair in the carpet and on all the furniture. We asked the office staff for towels, new sheets (we offered to change them ourselves), and if there was anything they could do about the microwave. Their responses was a plane and blunt NO to everything. We are now leaving the hotel to stay somewhere else, bye bye forever OYO!

I booked a room at this hotel on hotels.com. When I was checking in, the clerk said there was a $100 cash deposit required. He asked if there was any way I could get the money. I couldn't. I was denied the room. The hotel then tried to charge a $29.68 cancellation fee.Avoid doing business with this hotel.

I don't care what anyone says, I've been in room 23* for the past few days, the owner should know me by now! That man has gone above and beyond making my stay comfortable! And worked with me to continue my stay one more night after tonight! They are an amazing family and a great business! I'll definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone!! Amazing!!

First when I got to the hotel and got the room turned on the ac gave it time to cool off which it never did went and had to get the owner and his wife n son come did something to the ac that never help sitting there pouring sweat had to go get the owner again and he caught an attitude with us and told us not to touch the ac again. But never fixed it. Second omg the bed was infested with bed bugs they bite me like crazy. I even took a video. Needless to say I didnt stay. I went back to the owner and he gave me my deposit but told me NO REFUND even tho I didnt stay he still wouldnt give me my money back. So $60 down the drain for somewhere I could not even stay due to bed bugs. Horrible customer service they had attitude with us.

1 star cause is not letting give none ...very disgusting place. 1st of all deceiving pictures online... 2nd room had a broken heater, bugs inside refrigerator, beds spread that looked like it has not been change in years, no pillow cases and towels that looked like 20 years old not to mention that mattress was all stained and the smell of mold and cigarette was overwhelming...I ended up not staying and now the won't reimburse me the 602.00 I was charge.. Avoid at all cost unless you want to rob of your money or get bedbug bites... Very disgusting place...

This place is toxic. A real dump. Filthy, dead roaches, tile floors broken and dangerous. Couldn't use shower because of condition of floor. Toilet was not bolted down and moved when sat on or flushed. Like a carnival ride. Management was equally rude. We were fleeing Hurricane Irma, this was last room in Alabama (literally) and they took full advantage to overcharge for this disgusting room. If I could rate a minus it would be -5
