I called to check on the availability of a part. The woman that answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude and snarky. After I asked about the part she rudely said "no" and hung up on me. It was not that difficult of a request. I needed a kicker for a dirt bike. Nothing to be rude over. Don't do business here unless you want to be talked down to.

Not surprised by other reviews saying this place is rude. Apparently The Sport Center has their children working for them.I'll give my business to GPS Powersports up in Guntersville.

Justin did a great job helping us purchase a Seadoo Switch last year. We love the boat. We wanted to add some accessories this year that would require transporting the boat from out dock on Smith Lake to the dealership. We asked Justin if he could arrange a service call. Justin did exactly that. Justin and Chris Hayes, the tech specialist, came out on a Saturday and did the work . They did a great job, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this dealership!

Highly recommend! Joe was awesome, and both Chris and Chris in the service shop did an outstanding job. They took on a challenge with my dirtbike, and now it runs like a scolded dog!!! We will be taking every motorized toy here for service moving forward. Inventory looked great too!!

The guy selling was nice. They need another person in sales. I saw one family leave due to the one selling was actually selling a bike so he was tied up not being able to answer all of the questions. Also it appears there s another $450 or do just for delivery that will be added to the sticker price you see. They have a nice selection though.

I went into the store yesterday evening on the 14th. Walk around in there for about 15 minutes nobody looked at me nobody spoke to me nobody even acknowledge that I walked in then I heard the guy behind the counter say oh he wasn't buying nothing so I turned around and walked out of the door went down to the Kawasaki dealer in Cullman and bought a 2022 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 so there you go lost the sale because you didn't think that I was going to buy nothing hope y'all don't sell nothing ever

Great place to get your bike worked on I had 2 tires put on my bike I bought them thru them they got me the tires I wanted I had to wait awhile for them to come in but it wasn't there fault it was the shippers they do amazing work and took really good care of my bike. they even give me courtesy calls when each of my tires came in even tho they came in at 2 different times I think they were a week apart.

Around may of last year I took my trike,2000 trike. up there to have carberators took off,built,put back on ,.I took covers off took it up there on trailer .they took off carburetors rebuilt them and put them back on.they left off all small vacuum hoses and left the clamps off hoses on bottom .I called up to shop and manager gave me the runaround every time.I told him it was surging at idle and I called every few days for about 6 times ,he finely said he didnt have anybody that could work on old goldwings so I gave up I spent Almost 900.$ and had to put covers off and on my self.and have a trike I cant ride.Boggs down in 1st and no speed on 5th ,he said it was plugs ,so i put some in didn't help .he told me other things to try nothing helped ,I told him I wanted to bring it back he said he didn't have anyone that could work on it.

tldr: staff are friendly, don't trust the website.I have no qualms with the staff of this place. in fact, dealing with Justin on the finance and purchase of the bike (that I didn't end up with, but we'll get to that) was actually quite pleasant. the thing making me knock off 2 stars, is the inaccuracy of the website. they had a 2018 honda rebel 500 on the website, falsely advertised as an abs model, which is what I was looking for being as it would be my first bike. I got through the paperwork and all, had them get the bike ready to go, gas, drop battery in, all that. just to find out at the last minute that it in fact was not an abs model. I was (and still am) heartbroken, I was so excited to finally have it, i went through paperwork and all just to leave crushed and empty handed.

We used to love the sports center, everyone was awesome to us! We only went there to get all our bikes and getting everything fixed. But I can't get over the rude guy in the parts department now..a young kid used to work there and he was easy to deal with and laid back but now this guy is awful! I really wished they would find someone else to work in the parts department! Other than that I love the place!Update::: I don t think he is there Any longer

We were looking to make a purchase...b�t not one time did an employee come to help us. Even when my son went to ask for help. They ignored us like we were invisible. They were too busy talking amongst themselves. I gave several direct hints I needed help and nothing. My son went directly up and asked for help...nothing. Lost my business for good! I will travel to purchase elsewhere.

Sales guy was very nice. However, their poor website management cost us over 3 hours filling out paper work on a motorcycle that wasn't as advertised. Didn't end up getting anything.

I called for a quote to change the tires on my bike. They state they will not perform a tire change unless the tires are purchased from their shop. By itself, this is low-grade service, but is not too unusual in this industry; charging three times the price of the same tire available anywhere else, however, is absolute piracy. I refuse to do business with anyone practicing this model and I will do all I can to steer members of the riding community toward a more reputable business.

Just bought a new Spark Sea Doo about two weeks ago from Vic at that Sport Center. Gave me a great deal. Treated me very well. Joe in the service department gave me a very good run down on things to do and not to do. On a scale of 1-5 they get a 4.9. There not perfect. There was only one perfect. JESUS

Just picked up our new Sea Doo GTI 130 today. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience at The Sports Center. I live in Huntsville and consulted 3 different dealerships searching for the right Sea Doo for us at the best deal. One dealership did not have the inventory I was looking for, one dealership would not take me as a serious buyer because I didn't come into the dealership. I am busy with my schedule, and Matt at The Sport Center not only worked with me as a "serious" buyer over the phone but worked with me so that I feel like I got a great deal. Joe in service did a great job going over what we needed to do and not do. He spent time answering all of our questions and did not rush us through. To top everything off, we did not purchase a trailer, but the owner allowed us to use a trailer to get the Sea Doo to our house on Smith Lake. Top notch service and a great buying experience! Congratulations to The Sport Center for recognizing the importance of great service!

Bathroom:Single gender neutral bathroom next to the office space. Watered down soap, grungy sink. Toilet seat was comfortable and pretty clean. Have to hold the handle down a bit to flush but not too bad of an experience. Lock was sketchy but it looks dated.

I took my 2012 Can Am Spyder in because I had a brake failure light and also a shifting problem. The service manager was polite and told me they would check things out, that was Thursday before Memorial day. I got my bike back the following Thursday, so far so good. At the current time I am convinced that they beat the alternative here in Birmingham.

I went to the sport center with a lot of questions. Matt is very helpful. He was sure to prevent me from feeling stupid for all the questions I had. It was a judgement free zone thanks to him. I went to the place that sells bikes in Vinemont and I was told that as a female I needed to learn how to ride a dirt bike first. I felt very belittled by them. I look forward to going back to the sports center to see Matt again!

I don't normally post reviews on places. But for this instance, when the service was so terrible that I had to walk out of the room so I don't say something rude, I will. We went into buy/shop for a motorscycle. We have been in Harley, yahama, a few used dealers, and few other brand dealers all in this weekend. We haven't been as interested in actually buying until this store. We were going to go to the bank the next day. All we wanted to do was hear the bike run and feel how it vibrates. We weren't asking for a test run. Before I go any further In this terrible experience let me ask you this. If you were going to buy a used care or motorcycle and could not even hear it run would you proceed in the process? The floor sales man was willing to let us take it out just to hear it. Started getting things ready for us to. The guy behind the desk in the showroom stopped him and told my husband that they rode the bike a couple weekends ago and it ran great. Continued to ask us to take HIS word on it. When was the last time you could just take someone's words on something? This man did not shake hands with us when he came up to stop us from hearing the bike. He also proceeded to tell my husband the bike runs and vibrates exactly like his current bike. The man has not seen our bike or heard or rode. You cannot compare. My husband has been around bikes for a very long time and know his in and out. This man began using words to describe his showroom bike that aren't even real. He tried to sell this bike by sounding smart but did the exact opposite. This is a motorcycle my husband will be riding on the street and he isn't suppose to know with his own peice of mind how it runs? Their prices are great. The bikes should be flying out the door. About 2 years ago we went in to look for bike before buying our current one and some of the used bikes that were there are still there tagged saying "like new". Their bikes just don't sale. Even with very decent prices and conditions. They admitted to regularly taken their used out for rides of 150 miles give or take and not lowering prices. Riding that much depreciates the value of your merchandise and yet you don't lower price?? If you intend to be a business that sales anything you have a general knowledge of etiquette and customer service. Our money will definitely be spent somewhere with a knowledge of the merchandise they sale, and a heart for the customers.

Went in with excitement fully expecting and prepared to purchase a new bike even had cash in hand ready to put down my deposit until I walked in stood there for 15 minutes while people just sat around and then when I finally was able to flag someone down I was greeted with nothing but hostility and was questioned in a demeaning manor as to whether I could afford said bike by a man claiming to be the Owner...was pretty disappointed in my experience as I was fully prepared and willing to do business that day but would rather take business elsewhere if that s how a business/ Owner himself is going to interact with first time customers.

I came in there while in the area ready to buy a sxs and a quad, sales guy was very rude I went up to a door that I assumed went outside to their inventory and instead of saying how may I help you he brashly said what do you want, what are you doing I just said nothing and never mind and he chased me out the door like I was stealing something l, at that point very loudly almost screaming WHAT DO YOU WANT So I went to where I was appreciated at long shore cycle and spent 38,000$ And then my mother in-law went bc that s where I got mine and spent 28k I would never go back, you lost out on 60k worth of sales jerk
