I brought my Van in for service and Keith is extremely professional. They do great work, with reasonable prices and most importantly are honest! Is refreshing to find this in the automotive industry. I would highly recommend anyone to get work done here!

Keith cares. It's just that simple. He cares about the quality of work performs, he cares about learning new things, and most importantly, he cares about the customer. I've witnessed him be generous in assistance to multiple people, including myself. Keith prides himself on being fair and upstanding. His personnel are quality workers who are willing to go the extra mile. Brakes Plus is one of the BEST repair shops in Huntsville and the surrounding area. I highly recommend.

We had recently relocated from TX and were heavily grieving the loss of our trusted doctor, vet, dentist, and mechanic. Of course, something important broke on our vehicle before we'd completely moved in.We happened upon Brakes Plus and Keith because he was the closest full service mechanic to us according to Google. Expecting to get an over-inflated estimate for everything but the real issue (let's be honest, the 1st choice is usually a horrific one,) we had our vehicle towed to their shop.We had spoken with him over the phone prior to the tow to discuss the problem, what the car had been doing prior to the failure, and that we wanted an estimate on parts & labor for what he discovered. Keith asked if we were military, to which we answered yes and cringed (again, let's be honest, military tends to get taken advantage of,) and said he'd call by the end of business.Less than 45 minutes later he calls back! I'm expecting him to say he needs to rebuild the entire vehicle, except for the cup holders since they still worked. I. Was. Blown. Away!! Keith told us it wasn't as bad as we thought, the biggest expense would be labor since Ford stuffs everything into a very small engine compartment so he'd have to remove a part in order to fix our problem, but we'd save a bit because of the military discount, and that the part is warrantied. We expected thousands. He charged us a couple hundred dollars and our car would be available by the end of the day. WHAAAA?!?!?Given that pleasant experience we took our other vehicle to him for it's tune-up, oil change, and a look see for any problems/will be a problem soon. Our vehicle was finished in an hour and a half, plus new wipers, and a recommendation to have the tires rotated to help prolong their life and an alignment.For the past 13 years we have entrusted our vehicles and our children's vehicles to Keith, who happens to own Brakes Plus. Big or small, he has NEVER let us down. He's HONEST. He's kind, a hard working man who helps others, and is a wonderful family man. We have been blessed to be included in the ups and downs of Keith, his amazing wife, and kids lives. We followed him to his new location and will follow him to the next.You should too. You won't regret it.

Friendly staff, solid work, and fair prices. Keith is almost always available by phone and keeps you up to date on all of your work. Honest work for an honest price. I highly recommend this place.

Wow, a shop where good work and honesty comes first. I felt like a long-time valued customer the moment I arrived. Haven't been down in huntsville that long, rear passenger brake was rattling which isn't something I've dealt with before.Keith helped me out, had me in and out in a day, unfortunately I needed new rotors on the rear axle, he didn't try to upsell me or try to get me to unnecessarily spend and get the front rotors changed as well.Keith is a genuine guy who clearly cares about doing right by you, his work is a reflection of that. My brakes are better than ever and I am happy to say I have a new dependable place to get work on my car done. I highly recommend him to others.

Keith at Brakes Plus and his guys do great work! They were slammed with work and they got my brakes done quickly and efficiently. Not only that but they were very professional and kind. They kept me informed on all the work they did and had good, consistent communication throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Brakes Plus if you need good work done. They are trustworthy, and they get the job done right!

I would recommend Keith and his guys to anyone in a heartbeat! A couple of years ago I realized that my mechanic was completely ripping me off. I was in desperate need for one ASAP so I took it to the closet I could find. I have never once regretted this decision. Keith and his entire crew are wonderful. They take the time to figure out the issue correctly and what kind of fees you're looking at. He even tells you if he thinks something can wait awhile or if it really does need to be done right then. He has never tried to push me into getting anything that I do not truly need. I have called around after getting quotes from him just to see what others are saying and he is always more than fair with his pricing. Since I started going to Brakes Plus I've recommended them to every single person that I know. I have 5 cars that he's worked on over the years so he definitely knows me by name. Not one person I've sent there has ever been disappointed with their experience. He is probably the most honest and trustworthy mechanic and person I know.

Friendly staff and good service. Spoke with the owner Keith about my brakes and rotors going out on Tuesday dropped my car off Wednesday morning. My problem was solved.I second guess myself that morning cause the labor guys looked really young but Keith Assured me they do Quality work. Lifetime warranty and broke down what was wrong with my breaks. Price was good as well. He wasn t like Oh Another Female let s give her the run around. Keith is the most respectful, kind, honest man that has ever serviced my car. All his staff are professional and amazing. Not being from this area in have been skeptical as a female to not getting taken advantage of when it comes to mechanical issues, I am so glad I stopped and spoke with the people there. I will never go anywhere else and I encourage anyone to give bthem your business you will not be disappointed!!!!

I was very impressed with the work these guys did. They quoted me the repair price over the phone for a brake pad and rotor repair, and promptly fixed it same day. It really meant a lot to me that they openly talked pricing over the phone, and the quality of work they did was excellent. My brakes don t screech anymore!One final thing. They ll do a follow up call the day after a repair to make sure everything is still working as it should. I was impressed that they thought to check. I highly recommend them.

Had some work done, what I had done was at a reasonable price, dropped it off, was done next day, no problem. Where I have a problem is, I was told I needed ball joints, 700 to 800 dollars. Decided to hold off til I got some money together. 6 months later, had a friend who was the service manager who was also the frontend man for the shop check them. My ball joints are fine. Ball joints do not get better with time and more miles. The work I had done before was good. If you have some specific work you need done they might be fine but I would get a second opinion on any work they suggest. Sorry guys, but facts are facts.

I recently had my brake pads changed out at Brakes Plus on a very busy Saturday afternoon. They were all super awesome in there, very friendly and very knowledgeable. I was surprised at the end price in a good way - I felt like my car was very well taken care of and they kept me informed as to what was going on and where my car was in line. i am extremely happy with the service and would highly recommend them (they do a wide range of services, not just brakes). They will be our go-to guys for our vehicles!

These guys are fantastic. They have done all types of repair work and oil changes on my old Ford truck, Mercedes SLK55 AMG, E350. It's hard to find a good wrench turner you can trust. Was super happy to find Keith and his crew a couple of years ago. I highly recommend them!

You will not find a more honest or straight forward automotive repair shop in the area. We all know how difficult it is to find honest mechanics now days(unfortunately). This shop is guaranteed to impress. Especially if you've got a 4 wheel drive vehicle. I worked for Keith for nearly a year before I moved to Florida, and the fact that I'm speaking so highly of him even after working for him speaks for itself. I would not recommend any other shop for good, honest, and fair work. I dare y'all to find a better shop!

Upfront about the price, does good work, and actually made me feel like I was welcome. Did business the old fashioned way. Contact them and talk before you drive around trying to find a good mechanic. It will be worth your time.

Keith & his Team are 1st rate. A Better more concientious, reasonable & fair shop would be a highly unlikely find. Trusted beyond lifetime comparison for 3-4 years now with my own & my help ministry's needs. Astute & Unparralled expertise- budget friendly.

Most honest repair shops I've been around Keith is straight to the point and tells you not to waste money on repairs you don't need, also directed me to specialist on areas he can't perform at his shop. Great employees also.

Keith Machaund was extremely courteous and helpful. He went over and beyond to help retrieve our stranded vehicle, made the repair and then delivered the vehicle to us. The entire staff exhibited customer service of the highest degree. Rare to find these days.
