I run a Courier Company had a drop in Birmingham area needed work done on my Cargo Van Ty Mobile gave Great service Breaks Rotors fast very knowledgeable. Price Reasonable. If your in the Birmingham Alabama Area and you need Vehicle work I highly recommend Ty Mobile

It was the end of the day, and my car gave out on me. I needed to get to work for the rest of the week & Ty arrived quickly to help fix my car and get it running. Very sweet and professional mechanic! He s willing to work with you on price! If anything is wrong with my car, he s the man I m calling! Solid guy. Had to revisit the rear brakes and drums of my car thrice: first for the drums, then the rotors & calipers & hose, and then a third time to connect the brake line hook to the clip. Reliable & affordable service through it all even though I d hoped for a nice discount having driven myself for all three repairs . Worth it working with Ty though.

Misdiagnosed my car, didn t even send the text of what all I needed nor did he go into detail about what was actually wrong, basically ghosted after lol which is wrong either way, car wouldn t even stay crunk. Waste of money.. wait on your personal mechanic chile.

I work nights and am currently getting my house ready to sell. I dont have much time to work with. I wanted my front hub assemblies, rotors, brakes, and calipers replaced. Im no mechanic and that would've taken my whole Saturday and part of Sunday. Ty had it done in about 3 hours. I was amazed. He charged me half of my other estimate and he has my 20 year old lifted F150 riding like a Lincoln. Great value, great work. Thanks, Ty. Broke down on the way from Gadsden & I Google mobile mechanic..Ty pulled up & put new A/C compressor on & belt. The belt broke.. he fixed me right away...customer service was cool & he didn't waste time to get the job done!

He answered and showed up within 15 minutes on a Saturday. He was so nice and professional. Our issue ended up being an easy fix and he didn t charge us. Called Ty mid afternoon on Saturday, 7/23/2022. No other mobile mechanic in Birmingham would answer their phones or return my messages. Within an hour, he arrived to repair my car. He then quickly finished the repairs. He did a great job and was extremely timely!! Price was very reasonable. Would definitely hire Ty again.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Came out and diagnosed my husband s truck. Then completely ghosted both of us after quoting a price to fix it. We ve left multiple voicemails, sent texts, and even messaged through Facebook. Our messages are being read, but not responded to. I m aware people get busy running a business; however, it s not very hard to reach out and let a customer know what s going on with the lack of response. Extremely unprofessional!!

Very unprofessional and disappointing. I called Ty out concerning a popping noise under my vehicle. Instead of fixing the issue and assessing the primary issue, he navigated to smaller issues that meets the eye, resulting in over $700 in out of pocket expenses with no RESULTS. He proceeded to point out issues I "described" not using his own discretion or diagnostics ( but mine though I'm not a mechanic by far) to make a final assessment of the actually problem ( which is my jackshaft). He then suggested that I purchase a strut to fix the issue ( which I did) after test driving my vehicle from his "fix" which was another $300 that still DID NOT correct my issue. He further acknowledged that he knew it was my jackshaft because he had a hard time with it but did not establish this finding to me until I called with a complaint. I had to go to MAVIS (out of all places) to get a simple alignment just to find out it was my jackshaft this entire time. Not only that but the axle he put on my vehicle was very loose upon his completed assembly. He has since been unavailable to resolve this issue. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND unless your looking for a shade tree mechanic that you can tell what to do or does brakes and oil changes. I will be pursuing a lawyer for this matter and would like to warn others NOT to support this business especially if you have small kids and front end issues that could result in possible death IF anything breaks or goes wrong.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement

Ty was AMAZING. Very easy to communicate with and set up a time, EXTREMELY good price, very polite, up-front, HONEST and professional. This man knows what he s doing and told me he s been at it for 15 years. It definitely shows in his work. He replaced my rotors, brakes, and my front calipers without issue. Ty was very professional and got the job done quickly! He effectively communicated and got my baby back up and running. Had to have a radiator replaced, he did so and everything was put back into its place! I highly recommend him and his partner and I have now found my new mobile mechanic!!!

This guy is horrible.... promised me that he would come on a certain day and never showed up. Called him again on that day and he said he was busy. His customer service skills are trash at best. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS GUY.... go somewhere else

Absolutely would use Ty's Mobile Mechanic again! I expressed interest in watching what he was doing so I could learn how to do it, and he talked me through everything he did. The auto parts supplier ended giving me the wrong spark plugs, so Bernard drove me to the store to get the correct parts...never have I seen a mechanic go so above and beyond for a client.

I was never able to use the services because I called three times in a week to use the services to get a diagnostic on my vehicle. He gave me three appointments and never made any of them. I even left work early for one. If you can't make an appointment or short staffed, just say that and don't waste people time. I eventually called a tow truck. Not good service and would not recommend, try somewhere else.
