Heavenly staff that made the entire process seamless. I felt welcomed, I felt educated on the work being done, and I felt fully taken care of. Especially if you are a person of the LGBT it can be difficult dealing with body shops and other car related establishments, however this place was unlike any other with how warm and welcoming they were. I can t stress enough how amazing they were. My car is flawless. It was done relatively fast, and with great work. The ladies in the office get a very warm and special shout out for going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and informed on what was going on with my car and the work being performed. Thank you and I will continue to sing your praises haha

Joe Hudson's did a great job repairing my Tundra. Repairs were completed 4 days earlier than expected and my truck was even washed and tires shined upon pick up. Staff was very friendly and kept me informed every step of the way. I am an insurance agent and like to see this kind of service that is available. I will definitely recommend them to my customers in the event they have an accident.

I had my car repaired at Joe Hudson's Collision off Champion Blvd in Birmingham, AL after I was involved in a severe accident. Keaton was the Estimator, and this man knew his stuff. He went the extra mile to assure my car was fully taken care of and treated it as if it were his own vehicle when doing my Estimate. This was my first accident and Ashley was so informative in regards to sharing information with me about the process with them as well as the Insurance company. My rental car was waiting for me when I arrived to drop off my car to be fixed, and I had a seamless experience. The tech who worked on my car did an amazing job and they shared that they have very talented techs that have won awards for there amazing body repair work!! Everyone in the office was so friendly and kept me informed while my car was in their possession. I d recommend them 10 out of 10 times!Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

-5 Stars. My mother was in a car accident around June 16th, they came to pick the car up June 20th, and it is now July 25th and the car still isn t fixed. Every time she follows up, she is given the runaround. First, they said it was a $5,000 fix and it ll be done in less than 30 days. Nearing the deadline, she calls again. They told her that it will be an $8,000 fix and it will be done by next week. That week is this week. She had to return the rental because her 30 days were up and now they re telling us that the week after this one the car will be ready. They claim they ordered the wrong parts. The back bumper was hit along with the exhaust and tail light. Please do not go here. Based on the other reviews, you probably will not have your car for months. I m starting to believe the same will happen on our end.

Not even worth the 1 star I had to select to type this review! I work for a local tow company. A customer requested their Acura LT be hauled to this location. I delivered the car went inside to speak with the young lady at the front desk which is the operations manager. She advised I was not going to leave that car there because they did not have any information on it, at the same time, I was trying to give the lady information she refused the information. I was trying to give her because it was not insurance company information. So she had another manager demand me remove the customers vehicle from their property.Very poor customer service, unprofessional. And very ugly people to deal with. Besides disrespecting me as a vendor and refusing the customers vehicle they have to pay at a pocket twice for a tow.

There is a very good reason (or many) that this company ranks five stars. The customer service is impeccable! The calming demeanor of William and the other associates, when it seems like everything else is going haywire, is such a blessing. My car was returned to me quickly (I did have to book a date out for repairs but the has nothing to do with JHC but with the current market) but they were ready and did the work quickly. My car was returned to me absolutely spotless which was a treat. I would refer anyone there.Service: Body & Trim

If I could give less than one star I would. This is one of the most unprofessional places I have ever dealt with. I have had a part "on back order" for over 5 months with no communication from the company and no time line on the parts arrival! Every time I call the company the just give me the run around telling me they will "reach back out with more information" and I have never once heard back from them. If you are still looking on where to send your car stay clear of this location!

Jury is still out on this experience. Apparently, the entire front office staff (Valleydale Road location) has turned over in the last year. Process is not happening as it should, but they're not done yet. Spoke with Regional Manager today- interested to see if things improve.8/31 update- they are in communication now because we showed up at the body shop yesterday. They have not, however, followed through on commitment made yesterday to finalize estimate with insurance co. by today. Nor have they communicated status, demonstrating no ownership of the matter. And we are even more frustrated that they took the time to post a reply to this review, but don't seem to have the time to process the car. I will gladly update this review when we see some positive movement.9/23 update- they have continually failed to do anything to move forward our car repair. We decided to move the car to another repair facility, and finally have some progress.This location has completely fallen apart, and is failing its customers.

This Joe Hudson's location is really great. All the staff are there to help you out and walk you through any insurance processes. The repair will take a while, but they'll do a good job.Edit: I had some issue with this location recently after someone t-boned my car. There was a lot of turnover in the front office and the communication was horrible.

Excellent job as usual. Paint job perfect. They kept me up to date with email and vehicle was ready when they said it would be. Over the years, they have done 2-3 great repairs for me and I'll continue using them. The insurance companies like Joe Hudson. They are very conveniently located for me.

Brought it in. Told them i need it repaired. They got an estimate. Didn't schedule me like i wanted them to, told them to specifically schedule me. I am very pleased with my recent experience. They got my vehicle in and completed the repairs sooner than expected. My vehicle looks great and was cleaned and vacuumed. Every employee I met was friendly and helpful. I especially liked the texted progress updates that I received throughout the process.

No one likes to take their car to the shop. And if its just been in an accident its even more difficult. I had a fantastic experience at Joe Hudson Collision Center. The staff is more than friendly, professional and helpful. The automated emails alerted me to the status of the repair (i recv'd three to four emails a day with excellent detail on the status - example: replacement part has been painted and is drying - then another one that its dry and being assembled!). Then after picking the car up, i noticed a minor issue. I called and they had me come back in same day and resolved the issue on the spot, no problem within about 5 minutes.I would recommend Joe Hudson's to anyone looking for what i would consider the best possible auto service i have received to date. State Farm recommended them to me and they are also certified State Farm shop, just FYI. They also got done a day early so my rental car was not as much cost.

The Staff at Joe Husdon's Valleydale location removed all of the stress from having auto repairs done. From Leslie's patient professionalism in the office through the estimate process to the text updates, turned the entire incident into a most positive experience. I felt valued from the moment I made the appointment for my estimateMy vehicle was ready on the projected completion day. The work appears impeccable. The final review was smooth and easily understood. My satisfaction is beyond 5 stars. I would recommend Joe Hudson to anyone in need of repairs.

From the time I arrived for the estimate, to scheduling the repair, and keeping us informed during each step in the repair process by text and phone, the experience at Joe Hudson Collision Center was exceptional. We have used this location through the years for our vehicles; they have always gone above and beyond in timeliness and repair quality. Highly recommend Joe Hudson Collision Center for major or minor vehicle repairs.

First, my experience with the downtown Birmingham location at a previous time was fine. It took a long time, but my vehicle was great, they were nice, communicated. The experience was fine. However, my most recent experience with the Valleydale location was not so great.I picked up my vehicle after 4 weeks and upon inspection realized they had only fixed one side of my vehicle when there was damage to both sides. I pointed it out and the manager stated that the adjuster only did a work order for one side so they didn t touch that side. He then said to go ahead and take my vehicle and he would call my insurance company to add supplemental repairs and call me to bring my vehicle back in. I gave them a week to call me back because it was right before a holiday weekend.After a week, I tried calling. There was no answer and the voicemail was full. I tried to call for two days. No answer and no returned call. I called my insurance company and explained the whole thing to which they said that their report did show damage to both sides so they had no idea why they wouldn t have fixed it. They tried calling as well and got the same no answer and voicemail is full that I had been getting.Another shop will now be doing the repairs they didn t do. It was just an overall very frustrating experience. I tried over and over to give them a chance to fix it and wasn t even upset when I picked up my half-fixed car. Unfortunately, despite my good experience with the downtown location, this past experience was enough to make me go elsewhere for any needed future services.To add to this review:When I got my car back, I noticed that the tint on the side door window was peeling and could not figure out how that happened. Luckily, I took photos at the wreck and photos when I picked my vehicle up that show the tint was fine prior to joe Hudson getting it. Turns out they put a used door on my vehicle that has silver paint showing (my van is black), a big paint drip, a dent, and peeled window tinting. Not to mention a few other things I found the more I looked it over. Absolutely ridiculous.It cost more than $4,000 to fix their halfway repair job.They keep claiming they tried to contact me but they had my correct number and I never received any calls or voicemails from them.

Super nice folks. I just showed up at the door, waited about 10 minutes, 5 of which was doing the paperwork they asked me to do.Guy who checked things out was very polite, explained the problems he saw and was very quick on getting an estimate back.I will hopefully not have to see them too much, but I know who I'll go to if I ever need more work done.

They did an excellent repair job on my car. Repair job took two days, which was more than half what our insurance estimate told us. Everyone was very friendly, and they even told us about their online service where we could track the repair job. Everything looks and works great.

**UPDATE 12/20/2020 - Joe Hudson's is claiming they know nothing about this when they have finally been addressing it. My Google name is different then my birthname and that is not something that matters in a review. I had real experiences and customers deserve to know what they are getting into. Joe Hudson's are well aware of the problem and are in the process of "making it right" This is not a fake review and Joe Hudson's knows better since they are taking responsibility now after all this time.Let me begin by stating how unprofessional this company actually is. I had multiple dealings with Jennifer at the front office, and Clayton oversaw the dealings on my car. I got into my accident on October 7th and after getting a solid recommendation to Joe Hudson's, the car was towed there that night.I had wanted to get my car looked at thoroughly, and talk through options with them to compare what work needed to be done, or if the adjuster missed something in the estimate (He only looked at photos of the car).On October, 9th I got a text message ensuring me that I would be kept in the loop on what is happening with the repair.- From here I am left in the dark completely. No communication, they never "call right back" I always had to be the one to initiate contact, or poke and prod them about updates.Come October 16th I decided to call because the lines of communication were just not there. I had to reach out multiple times just to get a part ordered for my car to even take a step further in the process.I was also informed after my car was taken in that Joe Hudson's didn't even do the work, they part it out to Express Oil, how's that for transparency?From the time I dropped my car off, I didn't get any updates as to what was happening. When I inquired, apparently the work had already been done. They made decisions without any communication.I finally get my car back on October, 26th. And it does NOT feel right, my rear backup camera was full of water, (Joe Hudson's cleaned my car with a pressure washer and ruined the seal) the alignment seemed off, the brakes were super soft, and they forgot to put the hub centric ring back on my wheel.I went back to see if we could get it sorted and Jennifer didn't even want me to leave the property with my car's brakes and the way it was driving. They were closing up and she eventually decided it was okay that I continue to drive on it "for just another day or two" while their area manager would get into contact with me.The area manager does finally call me about 2 or 3 days later, saying all they could do was (probably) get me a new alignment and didn't mention any of the other issues, and he did not seem to care one way or another. Since then I have been trying to talk with my insurance adjuster and get the shop to make the situation right.Joe Hudson's of course is dragging their feet on getting anything done about it now, and in the middle of the craziness, I was driving down i65 and my BRAKE caliper COMES APART and grinds into my brand new wheel, causing me to almost crash on the interstate, and having to call a tow.All of this could have been avoided if Joe Hudson's would have taken responsibility for their "Middle Man" type of services with absolutely no communication.I am still dealing with this issue over a month later, but Joe Hudson's area manager, and Clayton, and Jennifer have shown me enough about what kind of business they are running.They have a vested interest in getting the insurance claim money, and not about your personal safety.It's been such a massive headache the past month, I am sure there are so many details I could add. Like how inappropriate and unprofessional the technicians are, or how they can't even take responsibility for their own actions.I would not recommend this shop for anything, and I feel the Better Business Bureau should know what kind of sleazy, lazy operation this shop is running.

First rate experience from estimate through completion of repairs. I was kept informed throughout each stage of the repair process. Repairs were completed faster than the original estimate. This is my 3rd experience with this Joe Hudson s location and I have always found the staff to be professional, compassionate and just easy to do business with.

The staff, clerical, auto technicians and management all work together achieve customer satisfaction. The clerical staff reviewed my itemized statements line by line with me. When speaking with me, the staff addressed me during conversation with yes ma am or no ma am and thank you s. My car was repaired within 5-7 hours. It was wash, vacuum and polish when I inspected it. Joe Hudson on Valleydale Road delivered a superb performance.
