Took my truck in for a brake issue. It's an old truck, 1986. After 4 hours I received a call that said that the only mechanic they had on duty, on a Saturday, did not know how to work on my style brakes. I give them 2 stars for honesty. I ran automotive shops for over a decade and I would never have had only 1 mechanic on a Saturday. Also if a mechanic does not know how to work on drum brakes he is not a mechanic, it is super sad that a nationwide chain has that type of mechanical work going on.

Guy couldn't even help me. Stopped in with a service engine light on and he said they couldn't run codes on it. SERIOUSLY?? What kind of service center ( Complete Auto care) place doesn't have a way to run codes for service engine lights? Dude just blew me off and walked back inside. I'll never stop in another Firestone!

Have to be prepared to sit for a while. The smell of the tires in the waiting room is strong,and causes one to get a sick feeling.

I visited here because my husband is in UAB hospital and my car battery died in the hospitals parking deck. I received a jump and took my car to this Firestone location AFTER calling to see if my battery was in stock and told it was. When I arrived I waited an HOUR before I was told that the battery he told me was in stock didn t actually fit my car. He said he ordered one that would after I refused the alternative battery. After waiting an additional 30 minutes for the other battery to arrive the delivery person said he didn t have my particular battery and wouldn t until the next morning. The salesperson offered a temporary solution which didn t sit right with me. I asked them to put my battery back in my car and I ll be on my way. For the next 35-40 minutes I watched three mechanics struggle to reinstall my battery, in order to remove/install my battery you have to remove my wipers and another part. They finally got me ready to go I didn t receive an apology and when the guy pulled my car out I guess he was upset with me or whatever that he left the work order still in the sleeve hanging on my side mirror. I still have it by the way. Fast forward to today I clicked my windshield wipers on and they were operating all wonky. These unprofessional mechanics not only installed them wrong but they left two important pieces of the mechanism under the hood of my car. My husband found them under there today, (I m so glad he s out of the hospital because this was traumatic)I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE if I could give ZERO stars I would. I will never ever do business with Firestone again! Horrible horrible experience. Avoid this location especially.

I had appointment today to get my brakes done at 11:00 so the man asked one of the workers do we have time to do brakes I m like it s 11 I hate this one they never want to work

Excellent quality customer service from the staff Ashely ,Kenny and Cedric knew their stuff. Having car trouble can really be mindbothering However, this staff assured me I would be fine I was back up and rolling the next day. The Store is always kept clean. MY GO TO STORE FOR CAR SERVICE

I talked to a gentleman name, Matt, he was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. I had a custom set of wheels on my car and required a staggered set of tires that matched, he was able to get me tires that absolutely blows my mind for a price I could not argue with.

Sameshia was great!! She clearly communicated the time expectation, cost, and followed up as well as she could while also managing her other tasks with me and other customers. I was impressed at the quality of service and the effort this staff gave! I am so glad to have found such reliable folks at a car shop and will most definitely be returning.I would like to note that the poor staff doesn t currently have a bathroom at this location and is being forced to use port-a-potties in the Alabama summer heat which seems like a health concern!! I hate to know that their company isn t on top of providing them a safe and functional work environment, that was easily the most disappointing part of my visit.

How an auto service shop is servicing cars without a diagnostic reader is beyond me. It doesn t even make sense to not have one. Waste of my time.

Negative -10 stars. Terrible rip off company. can't even diagnose a problem with a car, or give a comprehensable estimate. Ladies, and non mechanical minded people, beware. These folks will rip you off, and try to sell you things you don't need. $5,000 estimate for a engine when it was a $70 starter motor, and a battery. Your car will be broken into, with windows smashed out if you leave your car here.

I am completely satisfied with the customer service that was received from this business. Dee and Devin are some of the most qualified Personnel when it comes to dealing with people. We get complete Family Tire Care here at this Center and recommendations for what needs to be done to our vehicle. Keep up the good work guys. They also have military discount for veterans and active-duty Personnel. Highly recommended. These guys deserve a raise.

Customer service was great people that work there was excellent. But I was dissatisfied with milestone all together because I bought some tires and I only had half of the tire life and my tires were dry rotted and had cracked through them they only appropriated my entire dollars for four tires if the tires was already worn they should have replaced them for free so right now I am just a little disgusted with Firestone my tires was only two and a half years old and I only had put 24,000 mi on there when it was a 50,000 mi tire. No I have to buy four new tires very disappointed and Firestone tires

Today I went in to have a oil change and tire rotation. After the service my rear hub cap was broken and wouldn t stay on, my husband talked with the manager about what had happened and her response was, it came from wear and tear then she suggested we go purchase a new one.my husband contacted corporate and file a report. So now we are just waiting on the out come.

I called just to see if they could do an oil change 30 minutes before they close... of course Rose (the manager) says "no I have cars I'm still working on" this happened 5/13/2017 at 5:26 p.m.They need to hire people that first want to work, can do the work, and have great customer service. Piss poor store. And that's putting it nice.

Worst experience ever at this location. Rose, does have a job, but I guess all businesses need someone to write up a ticket or some front end service. She is not knowledgeable about the things that were going on with my service and did not help me when they serviced my car, I paid, and brought it back the next day to be looked at, but no one looked at the things I spoke of. She was not even listening when I brought it back in the next day for a follow up of what they fixed incorrectly. Even gave me counsel to take it elsewhere and have them look at what they did to see what they needed to correct. I see something very wrong with that picture. I am devastated, angry, frustrated, and hurt about how I was treated at this store.

My vehicle was dropped off Saturday morning around 930 Since I had previously paid for lifetime alignment along with balance and rotation. Guess I was placed on the back burner. Since no one called I returned to the store 30 minutes before closing only to be told I would not be served. I had a choice since they're closed on Sunday's I could leave my vehicle or return with it Monday. Nice way to ruin someone's day.....

It took 5 1/2 hours to get my tires on. They did check other things and align the wheels. I had an appointment for 12. I left about 5:45. The service was good other than that

Picked up a bolt in my brand new tire driving in Birmingham. Google Assistant directed me to the nearest Firestone, and the manager was fantastic. She got us in and out with no charge because I had read hazard coverage. We couldn't have asked for better service.

I can t thank Firestone on Bessemer Rd Birmingham AL enough for staying open late to work on my sons car on his trip to Denver, CO. The mechanics and young lady working with me over the phone was extremely polite and professional. They stayed open late on a Friday evening to be sure the car was running correctly. Thank you for the awesome customer service

Took my car here because I live close by. I will never ever ever ever step foot in this place again. Poor service. Lied about the problem to sell me stuff I didn't need. Ended up spending over $600 and they didn't fix the problem. I can't understand how this place is still in business.
