Took our vehicle to have a nail removed and patched. Asked them to also check the other tires to make sure no other nails present. Next day one of the other tires was low on air. Come to find out there were multiple nails in other tires. They said they did check etc. they were not up front with us that they did not follow through. Nails were visible. Don t go to this store for tire work. Tire guy has a lot to be desired.

Excellent Service. Got a flat in our driveway on our way out of town for Labor Day and drove straight to EO on Hollywood. Several cars were in front of us and we couldn't wait, so the guys quickly switched to our spare, ordered us a new one, and had it ready and on the wheel when we got back in town. We liked their service before, we love them now!Service: Tires

I stripped a Torx screw trying to remove it to install a jack mount for my Jeep. I just showed up to their garage- Kevin removed it in dramatic air-hammer fashion. I tried to pay and he refused. These guys are professionals. I ll definitely be back in the future.

Came by earlier in the week because Pep Boys gave me an outrageous quote for front and rear brakes and a battery and I wanted a second opinion. Mechanic Aaron told me I had at least 10 thousand miles left on the front brakes and my rear brakes had about 50% life left. I did however need a battery. I cant believe Pep Boys was going to rip me off like that.. Its hard to find trustworthy shops and mechanics these days but Aaron and the rest of the guys here rock!!!Services: Auto battery replacement, Vehicle Inspection

I came here for a routine oil change on a Saturday. There was only one car in front of me, so I think I waited ten minutes tops. My actual service maybe took 20 minutes total. The technician was super nice and explained everything. I will definitely make this my go-to location for my personal and fleet vehicles.

Express Oil locations vary WIDELY in quality. This location is great. Manager is always looking to lead, to greet customers and generally make things go smoothly. They have competent mechanics that can actually diagnose and explain issues. If they can't tackle something they'll tell you.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

Came in for an oil change and service was quick despite the number of customers there. Isaiah performed my oil change and walked me through everything he was doing. He also changed my air filter. Made an appointment to address a tire with a nail in it. Showed up on my day off at my appointment time and waited about 15 mins for someone to acknowledge me. Eventually Chase came out and told me they were running a few hours behind on appointments. That was not going to work for me and defeats the purpose of an appointment. I left and scheduled an appointment with NTB who was able to take me right at my scheduled time, were much more professional and addressed my issue quickly.

Would not recommend this place. We did my wife's first oil change on her brand new car and the spilled oil all over the VTC Connector for the VTC Solenoid. All of the service lights in the car came on the very next day. Called and asked for the manager and he was not acting like he cared very much. As a customer I expect much more from one of my biggest assets.Service: Oil change

These guys are awesome! I pulled in at 5:50 (10 min before closing) with a dead battery and they stayed late to change it out for me. Most places would be more concerned about getting off for the night than helping another customer. Every experience I've had here was great, fast and professional, highly recommend them!

Do not use them. They will rip you off!!!!They charged us over $10,000 for car work that many times did not fix the issue. The last straw they wrecked our car and promised to fix the issue and never did. I've been here the last 3 times we've had our Toyota Camrys serviced and we will continue to bring them here. The service is prompt, friendly and they walk you through any details that you may not be aware of, from oil type they must use to any other items that need to be done. Even when I've had to wait, it's been 25 minutes at most, with all 3 lanes tripled up. To top it all off, the price is really reasonable considering the speed and quality care that they do it with, it beats going to the dealership any day!

I recommended this Express Oil Change since it was close to where my daughter works and I have used Express Oil chain for my vehicles over the years. This is her personal car which I usually have my shop maintain in Florida. With travel restrictions I told her to take it to this franchise after Googling it in Bham. The manufacturer recommends 0-40 Mobil1 synthetic for this Mercedes engine. They told her they didn't have 0-40 in stock so she had them speak to me on the phone. I said 5-40 would work as long as it was synthetic. (knowing that I would change it in a month when I saw her). The said they had 5-40 Valvoline which I believe is the shop's bulk rate oil. Of course, instead they went with 5-30 oil. Someone said the manager didn't realize he wrote 5-40 oil and put 5-30 instead. So No discount for the Eff up? So if you value your car, carefully consider going to this location. I am carefully considering other options as in the future.

I needed a post for my battery case which was lost when replacing my battery. I had three nice men helping me. They had me fixed and on my way in no time! Excellent service!

When you go to Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers, look on the service station wall. INTEGRITY with every service. They truly live by this - I have never been upsold, bamboozled or screwed over by these guys. They are honest and efficient. Roy, the manager, is pleasant and leads a team of qualified professionals. I only go here for oil changes and have purchased new tires + road hazard from them as well. Great experience!

I had an emergency visit because something punctured my tire... not a nail.. much bigger. Thry are so crowded too . But they got me a new tire and changed it where I stopped in their lot. Extremely nice guys .

The entire staff was so friendly! They made sure all of my questions were answered. They worked me in and serviced my car in a timely manner even though they were extremely busy and it was tremendously hot outside.

My wife came to this location and dropped off our car with a flat tire with a nail and asked for it to be patched. After the car had been there for 4 hours, she called to find out what was going on. They told her it was repaired and was ready for pickup. When she arrived, she was told they could not patch the tired because it was too close to another patch. They rotated her tires including the flat one and charged $45.49 to do that. And then sent her home with a flat tire. They did not offer to put the spare tire on for her. Additionally they rotated the flat tire to one of the front tires (it was previously a rear tire) which is dangerous and makes no sense. I have no idea why anyone would rotate a flat tire instead of at least replacing with the spare on when a customer would come with a flat tire asking for it to be fixed. The told her she could come back next week a get a new tire. This is completely unacceptable.

I love this place the staff here is always extra nice especially the store manager Roy he is always extra nice and fix my problems. I travel 30 miles just to come to this location because of the staff.

I love this place. I am a college student and I'm from out of the state, and everyone here treats me so kindly. They get the job done quickly, and I never feel like I am being pressured to buy anything besides what I need. They check EVERYTHING, and they explain what is going on if I ask anything.

Mt. Brook express oil change location charges customers $115.99 for brake pads and brook highlands, and Cahaba heights charges $92.00 for the exact same pads. Also they try to sell the customer rotors even if they don't need it. If cooperate would look at there tickets they would see if they sell brake pads they sell rotors also. Plus overcharging on shop supplies as well. I think honesty, and integrity are not high on the mission at all. This is just what I see. If you check yourself you will see as well. As far as the other post people sent I m speaking from first hand experience and I m not being childish and calling people idiot like the other guy who made a post. Just want people to be aware of the truth.

Just an FYI -Hoping to spare anyone needing information.This location does not honor online appointments(even if you've booked the first appointment time)ALL services are "first come first serve".I'll be returning to my previous location.

I recommend this business for checking tire pressure when that light comes on, or anything else that needs checking or fixed. All of the men are so knowledgeable, helpful, and always greet me with a smile!

Had a flat, called it in, arrived, instructed that it was not reparable here due to location of the puncture, provided suggestions on where to take it, employee clearly marked where the puncture was, filled up my slow leaking tire and sent me on my way, the tire needed replacing, I appreciated the assistance and concern provided...
