Most the of shops within a 100 mile radius, are horrible. Shawn is passionate about what he does and it shows in his work. This will be my second time taking my 2023 Mustang GT in for exhaust work. Had a mid pipe done a year ago and then an Axle back installed a couple of weeks ago and the work was top notch. He welded everything to ensure I would never have issues and lined my axle back up perfectly. This guy is amazing at what he does. Don t bother with the frustration of having to get your exhaust work fixed. Get it done right the first time by contacting the Exhaust Shop. Shawn will take great care of your car!- Darrian

Shawn went above and beyond! I was travelling through town on the Hot Rod Power tour. My exhaust was bone stock and way too quiet. I stopped by the shop. Lucky for me he had some Faux Master mufflers someone didn't like. They were almost new on the floor. He welded them up and removed my resonators, all after hours when his appointment work was done. We left the shop at 1030 at night, well over 100 degrees. Loud and proud. Exhaust sounds good, no drone. Reasonable price He's an artist! Thank you sir!Service: Exhaust

Excellent workmanship. He tackled a custom dual set-up on our one-ton van. It turned out great! Super sound and looks. Very accommodating to our family s schedule. And good value. We would definitely recommend and do more business with The Exhaust Shop. Thanks!

This place is absolutely amazing. When he says he likes for everything to be perfect, he is not kidding. I had an x-pipe/resonator delete done on my 2023 Mustang GT. It came out perfect. My car sounds amazing and the install and welding work looks great. I would highly recommend the Exhaust Shop for all jobs!

I am quite late with this review. But last month I set a reservation to get my new sports muffler attached to my car. I am by no means a car expert and I had no experience dealing with exhausts before. So I took my business here as it was recommended by many. I was happily greeted by Shawn who immediately told me what I was dealing with, the time and the cost of the work. He had it done in such good time. I was very nervous when I picked it up since I had no clue what it would look or sound like. When I saw it I was very pleased, keep in mind the new muffler is significantly smaller than my stock, so Shawn took some extra piping to make it look perfect. I then started my car and was incredibly happy, it did and still does sound amazing. All for such an amazing price. I would give Shawn 10 stars if I could and I highly recommend!Service: Exhaust

In this workshop they have a terrible service, my car was there for 3 days and they didn't even touch it to repair the problem it has. From the first day the owner or manager of the place promised me that at the end of the day I would be ready if 3 days passed and I don't fix it but the worst thing is that this man raised my finger offending me Don't bring your car here.

Hey man, would love to chat with you about getting some exhaust work done on my 2022 mustang gt. I haven t been lucky calling your phone, and your voicemail is full unfortunately :( I would come to your shop however I have pretty wonky work hours so scheduling ahead of time would be great! Ps I will change this to 5 stars if we can make something work! Thanks :)

Scammer and liar. Having to take Shawn to small claims court to resolve an issue with my exhaust. When I brought the car back to Shawn (because the tailpipes were so close to the gas tank and causing the car to vapor lock) he looked at the exhaust work and asked "did I do that". He agreed to re-do the exhaust and kept canceling the appointment. Just one lie after another.

Highly recommend Shawn at the Exhaust Shop. Shawn takes pride in his work, works hard and delivers an excellent finished product. Shawn put an awesome true dual exhaust on our GMC Denali 2500 HD. Sounds awesome and performs great. Wish I had done this sooner.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Shawn is top notch worked on my car a couple years back. I do RallyX and Rallycross racing in my car which is on gravel and dirt. Alot of scraping, bumps, and scooping up dirt and mud. I have not had one exhaust leak or a hanger break. His welds hold and they can take an absolute beating and will never give. He is not expensive, he is the best bang for the buck. Newts and some of these other exhaust shops have absolutely nothing that can compare to his quality of work.Service: Exhaust

Shawn is great! Had my 2011 370z worked on today. Very friendly even though my car was a pain and took very good care of me as a customer. He wasn't pricey and knew exactly what to do when it came to my car. I will recommend him to any of my friends and family. Thanks Exhaust Shop for an amazing and educational experience!!!

Very friendly owner who does amazing work. Welds are perfect and he painted the pipes with protective paint for free. I love the sound and he is willing to work with me if I want to change the sound. He let me keep the mufflers if I change my mind. He even worked for an extra 3 hours after closing to finish up my welds. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I had a very complex change of a catalytic converter. He gave me a quote and even though he did way more than he thought would need to he did not exceed his quote! I could not ask for a more honest person to do this job. After everything he did for us a five star is not enough! I hope a thank you is acceptable! I would recommend to anyone!Service: Exhaust

Really nice cool dude! He is very honest and helpful! He is a very reasonable exhaust shop! Unlike others! He does great work and does not burn you panels and makes it all go back together looking good! I definitely recommend going here! He stays very busy but I luckily got in around 5:15! I could not be more happy if a customer! He levels the tip out and everything! Amazing work!

Shawn does excellent work!! He showed me a couple of different options for the exhaust tips... showed me how each one would look on the car... and went above and beyond by staying very late to get new mufflers, exhaust tips and a section of new pipe done in a day. His attention to detail is unparalleled! If you want it quick and sloppy, go somewhere else... if you want it done right the first time, go see Shawn!!

The owner a nd his wife are great people to do business with. I had Shawn the owner put an exhaust on my son's truck. He did it better than I was planning. He takes his time to do it right but he is fast. I know now why some of my friends recommend him to me. I will be back in the future.

Shawn at the Exhaust Shop has down a great job on the two vehicles I've taken to him. One was just a muffler and the other was a cat-back system. He installed them very carefully for a good price. I would highly recommend him.

I've lived in Birmingham for over 15 years and I have never been to a better exhaust and muffler shop. The quality is superb and the price is well under any other shops remotely close to the area. Shawn has worked on 3 of my vehicles, 2 sports cars and 1 truck, and I drive away with a smile every time. I highly recommend The Exhaust Shop. I have never been disappointed.

Really fun guy to talk to. He did a muffler delete on my 4runner today and it sounded exactly how I wanted it to, honestly a little better than I expected. If you set an appointment a day or two in advance he will be done with whatever it is ur doing by at least the end of that day. I ll definitely be back if I ever mess with anything else on my exhaust.Service: Exhaust

Took my 2016 Scatpack Charger to do a muffler delete, let's just say Shawn was very knowledgeable and professional at his work and craftsmanship. He took great care of my car and paid attention to his welding. He made sure the pipes were dead even and painted the welds. Let's just say I highly recommend him!

The most amazing exhaust work I've seen for such reasonable price. I have always had trust issues when it comes to letting people touch or work on my car. I love to detail it on a professional level and want everything on it to be perfect.Shawn has gone above and beyond all my expectations. Not only could he fit my car in for a new exhaust system in that week, he also managed to get it done on the same day! Don't let the outside of the shop fool you. It may be a little dusty here and there, but that is the result of all the beautiful hard work that is put into the exhaust systems. The same day turn around for such amazing work is what still blows my mind!My exhaust was done at another shop before, and for their sake I won't be mentioning their name. It was a disaster what they did. Not only was it done poorly, it didn't even last a full 3 years.Shawn came to the rescue and fixed all their errors. With his work I received:- Someone who listened to exact customer demands.- A full explanation of what he was going to do.- A quote to which he was really close when done. (Some places end up way over original quotes)- Brand new exhaust brackets that prevent the exhaust from moving or rattling.- Picture perfect welds that are painted over to blend in and prevent corrosion.- An exhaust system that is level at every point (Yes, he proved it with a leveler)- Flat black painted pipes to blend in with the underbody of my car where they are normally exposed.- Weld points on the exhaust tips, on top of the factory bolts, to really secure them and keep them perfectly aligned.For all that, the price he quoted me is by far more than reasonable. In fact, I feel like I owe him more for the immaculate level of craftsmanship he performed on my car. Definitely the place to go in Birmingham, AL. Thanks again Shawn!

Re-worked my entire exhaust, and it took some work. The previous owner of my car put a piece of junk of an exhaust system up with terrible welds. Shawn pieced together a new system for me, custom welding several pieces to make everything fit just right. I have never seen better looking welds then were done by Shawn at the Exhaust Shop. He is a kind man and has my business for life.If your looking for anything from slapping a new muffler up, or an entirely new exhaust system look no further for quality work, and economical work.

Shawn knows his stuff. I needed a bung welded in my header for a WBO2 sensor. He got me taken care of and didn't have an attitude about me asking questions. Always lots of appointments because of his good work.
