I was having major tire issues on my 5 hour drive home to Georgia. Stopped off here for new tires, without an appointment. The staff was friendly and straightforward about the wait time and price. They had me in and out in the exact time they told me and didn t try to upsell me. The waiting room/bathroom were also clean and comfortable. Bonus points because it s right next to a Target so I could get a coffee while I waited. You can see them working on your car from the waiting area which is cool too.

I recently had my tires replaced and was very impressed with the experience. I was able to go online myself and browse tire options and choose what I wanted then book my appointment. I received text confirmation and reminders of my appointment coming up. The day of my appointment, I arrived and the gentleman that helped me was so nice and helpful. I was told it would be about an hour so I sat and waited. However, they were done with everything in about 35 minutes. I was very pleased with everything and highly recommend Discount Tire, Hwy 280!

They disguise their dishonesty with professional behavior. My tire kept losing air and they did not inspect it to find the real problem. They just threw new tires on there. Turns out the wheel was cracked. Spent a lot of money for them NOT to fix my car problem.

Super efficient. The waiting area is not luxurious, although it is clean and comfortable. They do make up for it with kind and helpful staff and great prices. I love that they stand behind the tires they sell.

I'm a Discount tire customer for life and coming here just reaffirms this. Jake and his team are awesome. I needed trailer tires ASAP as we're traveling around the country and have a schedule to keep. I drove 2+ hours 1 way to get my tires and glad I did. Called the day before and they didn't have what I was asking for. Asked if they had anything else and they did....a better tire and I was stoked!! Ask them to hold the tires a day and they did. I had an issue getting a tire of and ruined 3 lug nuts. I asked if I could buy some from them but they gave me some replacements for free..... great job guys.

Went in this afternoon to order 4 tires, set up an appointment and get some air in my tire before I get the new ones. The moment I stepped in the front door everyone was so helpful and kind! Ordered 4 new tires at a GREAT price and filled my tires with a matter of 5-10 mins. I have already spread the word to coworkers and friends about this experience and will use them for all my tire needs :)

Discount tire has always been a good experience. This one was no exception. Never have any issues and free air checks and rotations are nice. They fix flats for free too if the tire is still good otherwise.

At 3am this morning, I was driving from work (a 12 hour shift) to a friend's house. I got a flat tire on the freeway and had my vehicle towed here. I made the 1st available appointment online, which wasn't until 10:45am. I slept in my car until they opened. As soon as I went to the counter and explained my situation, they were able to expedite my appointment and get my car looked at immediately!! They advised me that they did not have in stock the same as my original tire but gave me an alternative option. With my military discount and installed wipers, they had me back on the road to finally get some sleep by 9:05am. I am sooo appreciative of the entire staff here. You guys are amazing!!

When it comes to mounting and balancingtruck tires. The 280 location is the only place to go! I have bought tires from them for over 20 years. Jake and his team are the best in the business!

Came in before closing to get a hole in my truck tire patched. They said an hour and got it done in 30 minutes!!! They were so fast, courteous and got me back on the road quick!! Amazing service. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Discount Tire highly enough. They ve been so helpful, going above and beyond to take care of my needs! Slade specifically was super helpful one night when I got a flat.

As a single woman who doesn t know about cars, I m always hesitant and thoroughly read reviews before going to a car shop/tire place. I was going to go to Pepboys because they had a cheaper tire, but the reviews were not good. I loved the ease of the website and being able to schedule an appt and purchase the tires online made it the most painless process ever. I got there and they told me I could bring my dog inside the waiting area! And treated her so kindly and gave her some treats, and showed me pics of their dogs and stuff. Truly went above and beyond. I didn t get/can t remember everyone s names, but Sade (I think, or Blair?) and Jay and everyone else were so kind. If you re on the fence about where to go, stop guessing and come here. ALSO, it took less than an hour to get all 4 tires changed and new windshield wipers.

I had a 4:00 appointment on 11/22 to have my tires, purchased at Discount Tire, rotated. Arrived 10 minutes early. At 4:55 my car hadn't been moved. I brought this to the attention of Slade, the person at the register, who told me they had a 3:15 and 3:45 appointment ahead of me. No apology offered. I didn't point out that appointments are made from the time that they open, so having some ahead of me wasn't my concern. I did say that it would have been nice to know that there was a long wait as I could have left and run some errands. No response, just a blank look. I said if you can start in the next 5 minutes (which would be 1 hour after my appointment) I'd wait. Again, blank look, no response. At 5:03 I asked for my keys back and left. And again, no apology for wasting my time. When I purchased my tires, they damaged the pressure sensor on one tire and had to order one to replace it. No big deal, sometimes things get damaged.I had knurled aluminum valve stem covers. They lost 2 of them and replaced them with little plastic ones without mentioning it.I purchased 4 more of the aluminum ones. When I went back to have the sensor replaced, they lost another another, and again didn't mention it. I called and spoke to someone who said they would reimburse me for buying a new set. I said it wasn't the cost, only about 8 dollars, it was the fact that you keep losing them. You do this every day, how hard is it to keep track of valve stem covers? Use your pocket, a cup, a drawer, something. If you can't do something that simple, how good can you be at the other parts of your job? Good tires, lousy service. I won't be going back unless I have a warranty issue.

I cannot remember the name of the young man who helped us but we thank God for him and his workers. Service was awesome. We came in just after traveling 385 miles with a big screw in our tire. The tire was just about completely flat. It was almost closing time. They worked us in, fix the problem, informed us of the care of the service we received and the value of work was outstanding. Oh how I wish this team was located in the state of Arkansas!

Stopped in with a low tire alert. Even though they were busy I was immediately taken over to the air station to diagnose what the problem with my car was. At first he didn't see anything wrong so he kept looking and then found a nail in my tire. They weren't able to help me right this second but it offered my help if I waited. I was unable to wait he filled my tire with enough air to be able to get to where I needed to go until I could get it fixed. Didn't want to charge me anything. Such a good run business very fair. I will definitely give them my business from here on.

I will pass on ever buying tires from a discount tire again. Slow, not enough techs, rude staff and overpriced. Have a slow leak on one of their tires, get in line and that will be two+ hours with attitude.

Sam was not only a pleasure, but professional and knowledgeable.The whole team, leadership included took care of me, short notice. Free tire patch (picked up a screw on the highway)I had my dog with me, they brought me water and a container for him, three of them came and showed my dog some love. The person I think was the manager brought a dog treat.This company has done right be me, when I lived in Atlanta for three years, (one time they brought me my car to the airport after my trip for free?!?!) after doing a free tire patch from a stray screw I caught on the highway.The 280 location in Atlanta continues to live up to my expectations and exceed them with the friendliness and competence.One time on a road trip last year while I was driving through Columbus ohio, I called them 20 miles out, I needed two new front tires (winter/snow/ice) and I did not realize it until I hit the road. They got me in and took care of me quickly and took care of my dog same as Birminghams location.I will never use another company for tires because of the customer service, and competence.I am a DYI, I used to fix everything myself, I trust this company.

I don t post many reviews, but I gotta say this place is amazing. It s like the Chick-Fil-A of tire places a well oiled machine churning out quality work quickly in a clean shop with friendly customer service.

Great shop. Really helped us out during a road trip. We had a tire blow on our travel trailer. Called several tire shops and none were willing to help. This location was wonderful and even stayed open late to make sure we got back on the road safely. Can't say enough good about these guys!

Can t recommend them enough! Had a flat and took it by having never been there before. They put me in the system & you can track the status. They re very professional and have great customer service. Jes�s was great & shook my hand when I left. They repair for free which is great! They didn t try to sell me either, just recommended when to replace. I m going to buy my next tires from them now.

Probably the best experience I ve ever had at a tire shop. Had a nail in my tire, knew it was patchable. Called the store and they didn t have any appointments but said I can show up as a walk in. Did that, was in and out in less than an hour, which was what they promised. The workers are the nicest people I ve ever seen in the service industry. Was my first time at a discount tire but will not be my last. Highly recommend!!

Would highly recommend Discount Tire of Birmingham! Friendly and knowledgeable staff along with a clean and organized store made a great experience. Was even done in a timely manner which is rare to find. Along with this both the manager and technician communicated well and were very informative to me.

Kudos to Discount Tire of Birmingham. I purchased a set of tires from their website and made an appointment for 11:30 the next morning. I arrived at about 11:15. They took my truck in at about 11:35. I drove away at 12:07 PM! The shop is super clean. 2 guys did the work and used multiple machines to break down, mount and balance. They used manual clicker torque wrenches to tighten to spec. They finished by cleaning the new tires and treating them. No dirty handprints anywhere!Oh I almost forgot, they burnished the mating surface of the rims when they pulled them off

Highly recommended! Tony at the front desk was great at helping me choose the tires I was looking for and the price was very reasonable. I expected to wait at least a couple of hours to have all 4 of my tires changed but I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Great job guys .

I went in for a tire repair yesterday and was greeted immediately by Jesus. I have never visited this business before and was a little overwhelmed. Jesus diagnosed the problem as soon as he saw the tire, he eased my mind. Wonderful experience, was finished in a timely manner, and the customer service was great. I will definitely return for any tire needs. Thank you again Jesus for going above and beyond to help.
