I love my doctor. DrCarter spends quality time with me everything I go to him. He will keep you straight when you know you weren't supposed to be doing something. His staff members are just as compassion as Dr. Carter. Thank you for being my doctor.

I cannot for the life of me understand how this place has good reviews. When I called to get my son taken on as a new patient, the lady who answered the phone was the rudest person I've ever spoken with. She put me on hold for 7 minutes then picked up the phone asking why I'm calling and when I politely told her I was just on the phone with her and she put me on hold she gave me the biggest attitude. I told her if the phone service is like this I don't want to work with them and she said okay bye and hung up. Y'all seriously need to fire her. Too bad, because I've heard the doctor is great. (Oh and I've called before to try to get my son transferred over and it was the same lady, the same rude attitude, and being put on hold for an hour. This will be the last time I try.) I am the last person to take issue with people, but had to say something to warn people.

Hands down Dr. Carter and his staff are the best. He actually cares about his patients and takes the time to listen. The nurse's and office staff are very friendly and helpful as well. My whole family has been with Dr. Carter for year's. You don't find many doctors like this anymore.

Dr Carter is a good physician. He's the best doctor I've ever had. I want to give props to his nurse practioner Dr Diana Kenyon because you my dear are awesome! You've always listened to my issues and took care of me!! Thank you so very much!!

Great Doctor. We love Dr. Carter, but the front desk and Nurse Practitioner is a different story. While talking to her on the phone and trying to thank her, she just rudely hangs up the phone on me today.. I only needed meds for Covid and had called early this morning and it took the answering to get it after hours..

Dr Carter is hands down the BEST there is. He is caring, thorough, aware of your health needs and converns etc. you will be very hard pressed to find a Primary like him ANYWHERE. Take it from me and all the other patients that have left reviews... I'm so thankful for Dr. Carter...God truly answered my prayers when He sent me to Dr. Carter...I've been in and out of hospitals since 1980...I've also been to numerous doctors...none could figure out what was wrong with me...my 1st visit to Dr. Carter was great...a simple x-ray showed him some of the problems I had...I'm able to walk today, thanks to Jesus and Dr. Carter...I'm most grateful to have such a knowledgeable and caring doctor...lots of love Dr. Carter!!!

I can't praise Dr Lee Carter and his dedicated staff enough. I believe with all my heart that he saved my life by listening and actually reading lab reports. Dr Carter put me on the path to health after specialist had failed me. Thank you Dr Carter for being the person and the physician you are. Finally a Doctor who cares about his patients, others in his profession should take lesson from him.

Dr. Carter is the only doctor I'll see, unless he refers me to another doctor...I went to numerous doctors over the course of 20+ years, trying to get help, with severe neck pain, to no avail...my 1st visit with Dr. Carter was the best visit I had ever had...he took a simple x-ray and sent me for an MRI...my spinalcord was flattened...he sent me to a neurosurgeon...after 2 surgeries, I'm able to walk without my body going numb from my neck down to my feet...I thank God and Dr. Carter for helping me to keep walking...I feel so blessed to have Dr. Lee Carter taking care of my health needs...I definitely recommend Dr. Carter completely...his office is ran very well too...if you need a doctor that cares and listens, see Dr. Lee Carter

I have been a patient of Dr. Cartery for many years. I never dread going to the Doctor, because he treats me like a caring friend! If I could hang out with him outside of the office I probably would! I value his opinion, and trust his knowledge. SUPERB DOCTOR! !

I absolutely am so impressed with him and his staff! They took me in with a sinus infection when I couldn t find anyone else in Prattville! He is my new forever doctor! I can t thank the staff and Dr Carter enough!

I've been seeing Dr.Carter for over a year,yeah some of the people working behind the desk can be rude,but there's also a officer manager you can call and she does her best to help,Dr.Carter has the best bedside manor of any Dr I've ever seen,At one time I was looking at losing my Insurance, I've been there so long seeing his previous partner and switching to Dr.Carter,I'd gladly pay out of pocket to see him,he listens to you,wants to know how things are going even if its personal,I just was in his office Wednesday, he went back over my blood work even though his nurse had called with everything fine,he remembered our conversation from 3 months ago and asked were things better,no he definitely not a pill pusher and I like that,my 15 year old also sees him and she loves him as much as she did her pediatrician. I am so lucky to have been able to stay with him and the most I've ever waited to see him is 45 minutes, I dont complain because when he walks in to see me,he's not rushing out

Most terrible customer service I have ever received. I called over a month ago and was told they were accepting new patients and would get back to me. I have not heard from anyone. After calling their office twice in the past month to check on my paperwork, someone answered the phone today and put me on hold for 8 minutes, without even saying anything to me. When I called back, after thinking I had been forgotten, I was abruptly put on hold again without a greeting. When the woman finally returned to my call, she was rude and disrespectful and told me that they would not be able to take me as a new patient. They could not give me a reason why and told me I would have to call back on a Monday to speak to the office manager. I have BCBS, and this doctor is one covered by my insurance. Argh

Love everyone who works here, but calling for an appt is hard. 1 hour of being on hold and4 calls ended. It truly is a great office, but getting through is the challenge.

I love dr carter but the front staff lady I just spoke on the phone with immediately answers the phone with an attitude. I am currently on hold for the fourth time and each time I am hung up on. I don t even get to speak. I can t even ask for the womens name.

Dok is an amazing Dr with alot of character. He genuinely wants to help people anyway he can and doesnt try to pad his pocket before he will see a patient. He charges so much less than what a doctor of his caliber could. If you become his patient count yourself lucky! He is very intelligent and has lots of commendations.Mike Curenton

I have been seeing Dr,Carter going on ten years,you will never find another Dr like him,he listens,he is very attentive to his paitents,he cares for each patient like they are the only one,he has the best bedside manor like no other,I will never stop seeing him till the day.i have had drs that would stay in the room with you,he walls with you to the lab,and always calls you back about your labs as soon as he gets them back,DR CARTER IVE ALWAYS TOLD YOU HOW MUCH YOU ARE LOVED.DO EVER CHANGE.Hey everyone he likes carrot cake.

Dr.Carter and his staff are the best,he treats you as though you are his only patient,he listens to all your concerns and definitely isn't one for pushing pills and doesnt over book his patients.
