I have used Gray s Tires ever since moving to Auburn in 2022. I found them through a simple Google search and sure am glad I did!They are always up front, explaining exactly what is wrong, giving you a quote, and asking your permission to proceed. I love that they keep me updated via texts.However, this last time, they did not notify me of what they found, instead sending me a text that read, Your car is ready for pickup. At first I was a little peeved, especially because I had dropped my car off overnight and left my keys, and an explanation of the problem, in their drop box. I hadn t even spoken to someone on the phone about what I was experiencing (leaking tire) without giving the OK.Lo and behold, the reason they didn t call was because they went ahead and fixed the simple problem (a small patch) without charging me! What a deal!I appreciate the customer service given by Gray s. They really know how to take care of their returning customers. It may have been a small thing to them but it was a greatly appreciated by me!I will continue using their services especially since I always get my car back the same day!

Gray's Tire & Service is the absolute best!!! In Auburn from Atlanta, for surgery follow up on a beloved fur baby. Had a dead battery day before after which one rear window is stuck halfway open. No time to get it into the shop so thought oh i can live with that for a day - discovered flapping plastic for 2 hours is highly irritating. On the way to Auburn, i find out my radio isn't working, can't change the air conditioner fan, my dashboard controls aren't working, etc. Since i'll be waiting on my fur baby for hours i decide to see if an auto shop in Auburn can get something working correctly. Gray's did in a few minutes! Even got my back window closed! They were professional, kind (I had my other fur baby in tow b/c she couldn't be left home alone all day) and best of all good! Thank you so much Gray's Auto!

I used to love Gray s and used them for all of my car service needs. Sadly, the last time I went I was told my car had a transmission issue and that they didn t do internal work there. I took my car to a different mechanic for a second opinion and it turned out my transmission was fine and it was a problem with my side engine mount which is a significantly different issue. Unfortunately I will not be returning to Gray s in fear of another severe misdiagnosis.

I have been a loyal customer since 2009. Even after a tech dented our car door requiring body shop repair. Today I was charged several hundred dollars to replace non-working tire sensors. Online supplier Tire Rack charges $120 for 4 sensors. Disappointed and searching for a new shop.

THE BEST AROUND!! My husband and I used Gray s for the first time earlier this year and will not be going anywhere else. Every employee we have encountered has been beyond friendly and kind. They always pick up the phone, keep you updated, and the mechanic service itself is quick and done well. These guys are all very talented and know what they re doing. Prices are a steal for such great service. As a woman, I feel beyond comfortable going to Gray s compared to experiences I ve had at other establishments (especially the chains such as express oil). They have a big, clean and comfy waiting room. Overall they are just the best! Go give them your business!Services: Tires, Auto battery replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I went to Gray s a couple of days ago due to a nail in my tire looking to get it patched. After they finished, the person I talked to confirmed it was patched from the inside and good to go. After a couple hours the PSI was dropping. Took it to Tiger tire today and they told me it still had the nail in it and was never patched. I will not be going back.

I talked to Matthew and William and they were extremely nice and helpful, I didn t have to pay for diagnosis and they got my a quote very quickly and pain free!

Looked this place up on Google maps during my travels as I had a problem, I had a serious brake issue on the rear of my vehicle that developed while in town. I called and told them the problem and exactly what I wanted done and they did it to the letter, they even handled getting the parts for me at the same price that I could as I'm a car guy too with accounts at different places. The staff was very courteous and friendly, timely work at a fair price. My vehicle was well taken care of. 2 thumbs up.

If you go anywhere else in Auburn for tires or repairs, you re making a mistake. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Their work is actually pretty decent! however I don't trust these guys,I will try them out again with my 02 sensors and purge valve & see how it goes

One of the best auto repair shops in Auburn. No extra charges, no parts falling out of the vehicle or any trouble with the repairs. Good honest work without issues.

Even without a full staff during holidays, they took the time to help diagnose an engine warning light. I replaced a faulty component and the warning lights disappeared. The next time I need automotive help, they will get the call.

We ve been taking our vehicles to Gray s for years now and are always happy with the straightforward and fast service. They also use a helpful text messaging system to keep you updated when your car is done or when additional issues are found. This place is amazing! Especially Connor in the front! He s absolutely awesome. I would almost call him family because of how great he treats me. Connor at Greys Tire auburn always makes sure to get you what you need and make you feel at home. I ve never dealt with anyone better than Connor at Greys in Auburn. Brought my truck to them and describe the noise I was hearing coming from the rear end during acceleration. The next day when I went to pick up my truck they said they could not hear the noise in the rear end but my lower ball joints and driver side motor mount needs to be replaced. Their test drive was only 1.4 miles long .Just remember I brought it in for a noise in the rear end, the last time I looked the lower ball joints and motor mount is in the front of the truck. The next day I took the truck to a mechanic I ve never been to before for a second opinion. He checked tout the truck thoroughly and said there isn t a thing wrong with the ball joints or motor mounts. Absolutely no oil around the motor mount. The reason I had my doubts about Grays diagnosis is that the motor mount is less than three months old. They couldn t find the problem I brought it in for so they had to make up something to charge me for. At least be smart enough not to pick a part that is brand new. Tried to talk to the manager the next day, very arrogant.His response was we all make mistakes and we didn t charge you for anything so no problem.Don t trust them go somewhere else.

This place is amazing! They give me exactly what I need every time and I never had to wait! When I need tires they always have what I want ordered and ready to go and I give a lot of the credit to Connor who works in the front! He does such an amazing job and is always so kind! The team corrected my issue and also diagnosed the reason was faulty action previously done. They had to correct it before my vehicle was repaired. I appreciate their professionalism and outstanding customer service. I definitely will bring my vehicle back for regular preventative maintenance.

Started taking all 5 of my vehicles to them dating back to early 2017 for tires and very general maintenance (3 foreign and 2 American made cars). I stopped taking my foreign made vehicles because not keeping me abreast of manufacturer s recommended maintenance schedules as my trusted mechanic shop wound up costing me $1750 elsewhere on a valve job after my wife s car timing belt broke 17,000 miles past recommended service. They couldn t fix it and still charged me half the amount quoted but did eat the tow to another shop. I continued taking my American made vehicles to them only for tires and general maintenance only because I purchased my tires there. My last interaction with them made me feel as if i was a brand new customer off the street and that they were ready for me to move on to another shop. I have sold those 2 vehicles and I have found another shop.They used to be 5-star in my book. But, after my last several interactions, they are down to a 2 and I have to move on. Sorry guys.If you don t know it s broken, you can t fix it.Best of luck. Won t be back.
