Last week, I got into a car problem while driving on the highway. we are a family from Kentucky, who came to the U.S. this January. And we are not good at english. In the absence of circumstances, they truly cared about my family, and they did repairs quickly. Thank you very much. I'm truly touched by the kindness of the American people.

Outstanding Service and common courtesy at a Great price. There was a delay in getting my vehicle done and my wife had no way to leave. Instead of making her wait, they offered her a ride home and when the vehicle was done they came and picked her up.

Not all requested services were completed. New tires and oil change, but alignment and radiator flush were not performed. I was not charged for those services and given a "coupon" for free radiator flush when I bring it back. Apparently some services have to be performed in series because only one technician is qualified to do them. I waited 1-1/2 extra hours after tires and oil change were completed while no additional work was done.

Bret the manager and Doug the technician took care of me in a very friendly and timely manner. Alignment feels and steers great. I am a 47 year PBY customer in numerous states and highly recommend them and I will be back with my other vehicles.

They took great care of me! They were very busy and understaffed when I showed up needing my tired repaired. She assured me they could take care of me if I didn t mind waiting. They were great!

Great customer care, these guys were informative, and honest the atmosphere was so great that I m going to apply because I want to be a part of the vibe.. and no point did I feel like I was in a Sales atmosphere? Thanks God.

Folks, this place is amazing! I rolled up after working 11yrs, tired,cold and needing tires at 610pm! I was treated like family, got new tires (price matched) installed and was in my way! Friendly, tirelessly working to help customers! 5 5

The overall experience was pleasant. the facility was clean as one would expect a auto repair shop to be. the staff was easy to deal with and knowledgeable of the services they provide. the work performed took a little longer than expected, but it was a very busy time as it was right after the holiday.

4th trip to have issue from bad shocks that were installed in Dec2023 to be corrected. Still did not order replacement parts so have trip 5 coming up.

Store personnel and counter service is excellent. This was made last minute and was a same day appointment. I arrived 20 minutes early and today must have been my lucky day. There was no wait! This was a Monday after a holiday so maybe that helped. Oil change, tire rotation all completed in about 45 minutes. I even was able to use a 25% off coupon so the service was very reasonably priced.

This location in Athens is very professional and friendly. I really recommend this location and not the Madison location. I had a bad experience with the Madison location and will not go back there again.The lady at the front Desk was very kind and concerned. Everything was covered under my warranty and I was guaranteed that everything would be repaired and it was. Thank you Athens location.My brakes and rotors were taken care of.

I ordered 4 tires and paid online. After my truck was up on jack for over an hour, he came and told me they only had three tires and I would have to come back. Well I did at 530pm and still no tire and staff knew nothing about me coming. So now I have to come back a 3rd day. I work out of state and this is a huge inconvenience after paying almost 900 dollars.

ATTENTION we called & talked to Jake, he said needed a appointment- they don't do walk ins but on their website and Google site it doesn't say nothing about (must have appointment)Every Pep Boys We have been @ was great but the Athens Alabama location not !!

I don t enjoy leaving negative reviews on a local business. I have done business with this Pep Boys for many years.l have purchased many Michelin tires for the trucks for my business along with personal autos, oil changes etc. I have always had a good experience. However, I recently inquired about purchasing four Goodyear Endurance trailer tires and was told they could have them in two days. I could tell they were very busy and we hung up without confirming the price. I called back and they gave me the price of just under $1000 for four trailer tires mounted and balanced. I told them that was acceptable. Again they were busy so the call was a little rushed. After hanging up, I knew the size of their lot was not very big so I called back immediately after hanging up to confirm that they can mount them on my trailer. The manager said that they could not handle the trailer there and I would have to mount them myself which I was being charged for. No offer was made to discount. The price. I told them in that case I would probably have to do something different because I would have to change all the tires myself. He said that would ve been good information to have a head of time, thank you and hung up on me before I could say anything. I immediately called back and asked to speak to the manager, who was apparently this person. I told him that I have done a large amount of business with him over the years and I thought he had been extremely rude and hung up on me. He did not apologize and said that he did not think he was rude. I will not be back, and I will tell anyone that I can to avoid this business. It only takes a few seconds to be rude, and it also only takes a few seconds to be courteous . I would suggest courtesy.

Every time I go to PepBoys everyone has been wonderful! They always take the time to offer to explain the details of what they re doing to my car and why they re doing it. Today, I just needed a tire check because I got a nail in my tire & they got it all fixed. Everyone seemed really kind! Thank you PepBoys! :)

These guys did right by me. 100%. So, here's the story. Scheduled online for transmission fluid flush. When I got there they were super busy and couldn't get to me. So asked me to bring it back the next day and leave it over the weekend if I could. I could and I needed my steering system diagnosed, possible bad bearing, shock-strut in my non-proffesional auto mechanic knowledge based opinion. When I brought it back, they couldn't change the fluid because it was an enclosed system and had to go to a dealership. They put it on the lift and drove it around and said the shocks were like 50% but otherwise system was sound and they wouldn't recommend any mx at this time. Best part, when I went to pick up the van, they comp'd me the $40 diagnostics fee for having to wait around the day before. Good save in an awkward situation for a business that obviously does care about maintaining a professional image and good customer relations.

Not even a one star yesterday. Sat in the waiting area yesterday for 3 hours only to find out my vehicle had even been pulled into the bay. Had a 3:30 appointment and left at 6:15 without my oil change and tire rotation.

Brought my car in for a flat repair. They were too busy. Could not get to it. Did not look at tire. I made an appointment.Took my car in again. There was a nail in the 2nd row of treads. Hunter, who is quite rude to be in the customer service business, informed me that it could not be fixed because it was too close to the sidewall. I said it was no where near the sidewall. He replied, "Do you always interrupt when someone is explaining something to you?" He then said that a tire could not be repaired if it was within 2 inches of the sidewall. He said to Google it. He said he would not fix the tire and "no tire shop will". I left. I Googled it. Google said that the hole could not be within 1/2 inch of the shoulder. Mine was over 1 inch. I took it to another tire store. They fixed it immediately. Patched it, which was "impossible". I was there 15 minutes. I have bought tires at Pep Boys Athens since before it was Pep Boys. I NEVER WILL AGAIN!! Looked at their reviews. Many 1 star reviews, with several mentioning rudeness. Reply on all was the same canned response from management.

Quick and respectable services at this location! They have worked with me on my scheduling and staff seems to be very informative. Big shout out to chase specifically for amazing customer service work, high energy, and willingness to go above and beyond !!! Thanks for the five star experience

Took our car for an alignment but the guy literally took less than 10 minutes to get the car back to us, I thought that was quick, especially after the lady at the front told me it would take at least 30 minutes to an hour. After taking the car out on the road we realized that nothing had changed- car is still driving the same. I don t have any faith in taking my car back to these guys~ wasted time & wasted money, we will be taking our car somewhere else.

I had great experience to the point that words may not justified but they are very professional. It was like a family kind of experience and they took care of my Honda odyssey with alternator issue. I will highly recommend.

When I arrived without an appointment, they quickly checked in with me. They were honest about wait time, they updated me throughout service, and finished much quicker than anticipated. I will likely be back for future service or repairs.

Just want to give everyone a heads up, they have techs that don't show up for work so scheduled times are worthless. I waited like 4 hours for tires and an alignment. Next, the car shook at highway speeds, shaking started at around 60mph, and also after the alignment the car pulled left especially in the left lane. It didn't pull before. I brought the car back for them to take care of it, the fella at the counter almost seemed offended that I claimed the car wasn't right and i had to leave the car so they could get to it whenever. Id think they'd be more eager to take care of a problem they'd created. They gave the car back to me all greasy inside, grease on the arm rest, console, and other interior items. Now after I got home i was looking at my wheels and found where they dug the weights off the wheels with something that scratched and gouged some of the wheels, and also other scratches in the wheels. And to beat it all there's still a shake at highway speed after they told me they verified my concerns and corrected them. I just want to let people know there are better tire shops out there that actually care about customers and their property.

Went in for an oil change and complimentary inspection. So glad I did because it turned out my tires had dry rot! Everyone was kind and thorough. Waiting area was clean and quiet. Will be back.
