What can I say about Champion Service? Today I went in to get my oil changed; my 15 month old tagged along! The staff was so great with him! The Service Manager Leon Vickers held him and walked around with him looking at cars etc and he even let my son walk around his office space! They made us feel like valued customers! Definitely a proud member of the Chevy Family! Thank you so much.

I took my daughter's car in to have remote start added. The service department was absolutely wonderful! Cedric went above and beyond to make my experience pleasant, he made sure I knew that it would take longer than anticipated and even got me a ride so I wasn't stranded at the dealership all day. I will definitely bring all of our vehicles in to Champion when they need to be serviced.

I have taken my vehicle to Champion Chevrolet's Service Department on multiple occasions for maintenance/servicing needs. The service department manager, Mike, and his team always provide me with excellent customer service, answering questions that I might have and communicating with me about issues that were found and any costs associated with repair work. Champion Chevrolet of athens they have had my vehicle for a year now because they can t figure out what is wrong with it. They replaced my motor July of 2022 and after I picked it up it started have an electrical issue and I brought it back to the dealership. They put a new fuel pump in and then proceeded to replace the fuel pump three more times trying to fix the issue. Then eventually, they told me that they were just throwing parts at it because they didn t know what exactly was wrong with it. They had to replaced the wiring harness which they could have possibly damaged it they replaced the motor in my car. I have spend nearly 10000 $ on fixing a car I can t even use or drive. This is ridiculous that I m spending so much money to keep my car insured and to make a payment on my car just to be throwing more money away.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Highly recommend this service department! After calling a different service department who told me to drop my car off and it would be 2 days before it was even looked at, I called Champion. It's a bit further of a drive, but completely worth it. They got me in and out the same morning. The service department even took the time to show me what needed to be replace. They have earned a repeat customer.

I am a repeat customer. Justin was great and very helpful with sale of a used vehicle I was interested in.I asked for a certain monthly payment and the end result was around where I was wanted to be. I will continue to do business with this company. Good customer service and a good inventory on thelot. If you are looking for a reliable used vehicle or a new one, do yourself a favor and go see Champion in Athens, AL. On 72. Great people!!!

Had my car for 3 1/2 weeks, said it would be 1200 then called next day said it would be an additional 600+, said it was fixed, picked it up and within 4 miles it was doing the EXACT same thing it was when we brought it in. Took it back, now says it needs a radiator, another 800+ and that's at a discounted rate. Nevertheless, we picked our car up and brought it home. Very disappointed in service, thought it would be better to go to a dealership.

I took my daughter there thinking this was a good place to buy a car. I was sorely mistaken. When they brought the car out for us to look at we were told that it had gone through a 102 point inspection and the battery was brand new. At first look everything seemed fine. When financing the vehicle they raised the price of the car over $1100 "in order to get the bank to finance it." Within 24 hours the check engine light came on. We took it in and had to replace an O2 sensor. After replacing that and within the first week, the battery light came on. We barely got the car home, and the battery died and won't even accept a jump to get it started. Makes me wonder if they actually did a 102 point inspection or looked at the bumper in 102 different locations. I always wanted to buy a car from Champion because of their great reputation, but I would never recommend anyone to buy a car from them again. They even made the buying process a hassle by making us go to 2 different buildings to fill out the paperwork to buy the car. They did fill the tank though, but what good is a full tank if you can't even drive out your driveway.

I purchased a certified 2018 Chevy Silverado Z71 from this dealership and have had to have two door panels replaced, screen in vehicle replaced and the complete assembly replaced for the A/C and other options and each time Brian and the staff within the service department have been so amazing. I simply explained what I've been facing and then I gave ideas on resolution and each time Brian was super facilitative and friendly. Thank God for the bumper to bumper certified warranty and that I purchased the extended warranty. These staff members are top notch and i'm so happy. They were friendly and quick to do an airbag replacement as part of a recall on Monday 5/17. But when I drove away I noticed the massive crack in my dash that was not there before. I called the service center when I got home from the repair. I was assured by Brian they they do all the work through the glove box. After looking at some youtube video, It looks like the the passenger side airbag has an access cover on the top of the dash. Brian was to have the service manager Jeff call me back to reach some arrangement. He has not. When I called yesterday (5/18) I was told that Jeff was busy and that he has the message to call me. It is not mid afternoon on 5/19 and there has not been a call. I advise everyone to do what I should have done.... take lots of pictures of your dash before you have a dealership work on your airbags.

As a woman I feel comfortable doing business with Champion. They always explain what service I need and give me a price up front. I trust them and will continue to buy my cars and use them for service.

I received a recall for my Chrysler 200 for the Catalytic Converter so called made an appointment and dropped off first thing the morning of 1-19-2021 . Got the call it was ready so picked it up and parked in my driveway for I was off work that day. Following morning 1-20-2021 on my way to work I smell exhaust and a loud rattling sound, called them back soon as I got to work and was told to drop it off that evening . They called me next day 1-21-2021 and said yes it was not installed properly so they fixed it. I had to rent a car to get to work because of there mistake. all they could say is sorry sir.So I pick it up for the second time and on the receipt they wrote 27 point inspection lubed u-joints on 4 wheel drive truck only. so I guess they wanted to Cover up there mistake and save face.Very disappointed in how they handle this and no one tried to make it right.We bought a New Dodge Journey from them also and after all this we will go else where for new cars. I do not recommend them find a different dealer.Services: Exhaust, Battery

Rude, acted as if we were an inconvenience to service a recall on the car after we had already called and scheduled an appointment. I was blatantly skipped in line while trying to pick up my car after he asked if I was next. I will Never have anything serviced in that place again.

I've had a front row seat to the frustration of a relative who made a purchase of 2012 Genesis this past July 2020.They were so proud of the Genesis he bought. And over all it is a nice ride. Except...They brought the car back to the Midsouth and were proud new owner! They shared their experience and felt really good about the purchase.But since they're returning with the car, there has been a nagging "noise" related to the drivetrain. They were told by an employee that the noise was just a heat shield. Over that past number of months I personally witnessed the noise. It became clear the noise was not related to a heat shield. The noise was related to the drivetrain, specifically the clutch-transmission.Since it's become clear the issue does not appear to be a simple heat shield issue, they've been trying to get it into a local repair shop. It finally is in a local shop that hopefully will have a resolution, but initial estimates before parts is pushing $3000 and the final prognosis has yet to be determined.They also have attempted to open a discussion with Champion about the drivetrain issue. I'm told, they were told the car was sold as is... they are beyond disappointed...So am I! I've made similar purchases, including as is, but we came to an amicable arrangement when issues have occurred.I hope these folks do the right thing! I plan to follow up and post once we know what was really wrong with the Genesis.

I have always been reluctant to go to dealerships but at Champion, they make you feel like family. We got a great deal on a brand new vehicle and I felt like I was well informed and there were no surprises. They really changed my mind about the dealership experience

Nothing major but took my 2020 Silverado in for service and upon checking everything was correct I found Champion didn't reset my oil life and wrote down the next service mileage on the reminder sticker. Instead of it being 7,500 miles they wrote down 5,000. What I'm saying is Chevrolet wrote the service intervals so Chevrolet service should be on spot. Technicians need to have better check list. It could be a way to get customers back in more due to inaccurate information. Dont care which ever just hope the correct oil was added to my 5.3 V8!

I had a check engine light come on. I left it the service department with the light on. Got a call later that day.the mechanic said no light was on. Got charged 137.50. the next day light was back on. I took it to a local mechanic who ran a code check and found a knock sensor code.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic
