Absolutely the best experience I have had with an auto shop. I called ahead and asked if they could help with a plug on a tire I didn t want to replace yet. They were super friendly and knowledgeable over the phone and gave me a quote for the plug. I showed up and they plugged it, aired it up, and let it go very quickly. I also asked for a quote for a new set of four tires and it is the best deal I have been quoted so far. I will always use this tire shop.

Absolutely the best tire shop I ve ever dealt with. Had a sub compact tractor tire blow on me, and I needed it fixed ASAP.Went ahead and had them order the right tire, had it the next day, but they found it to be an easy fix on my existing tire. It s hard to find honest people, and they could ve just said it was a bad tire and I wouldn t have known.Got the new tire too, so now I saved my old and have a spare for next time.Good prices, honest, fast, and nice people. All of those are hard to find!

The work was done to my satisfaction and they warranty used tires for 30 days. I had a rear tire replaced with a used tire and a front tire repaired. Good price compared to the big box shops. I like that it's very open and I'm allowed to kind of watch how things go. I felt more involved in what was going on with my van.

Would not call to update me. Took my car in at 7 am on Monday, quoted an hour of labor for the job. I called to check in at 2:45pm and they said they were just about to get to it. I figured they'd call that evening before they closed if it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow but they did not. I called at 10 the next morning and they said they'd have to call me back. I get a call back and they say they can't even do the work. So why did they need to keep my car for a day and a half? Who knows. There were always a few people just sitting around. They're not equipped well here and they don't even practice business well to make up for it. I would highly advise against taking your car here. Don't waste your time like I did.

Was stuck at the co-op with a loaded trailer of feed and a flat on the trailer. The employee got there within about 15 minutes got the tire changed and I was on the way in under an hour. Super service.

Great local place for tires. Place looks a little rough around the edges, but they give honest prices and do good work. This is the place I have gone for at least 15 years now. Tried another of the big box tire places once because their quoted price was a little less once. By the time they added on their hidden fees they were well over the cost at Abercrombie. Swore I would never do it again.

I just want to say I hate going to a mechanic because you are at their mercy, but I had a work vehicle go down out of town and these guys at Abercrombie fixed my vehicle and I felt bad after seeing the invoice. I felt like I owed them more. Thank you guys and I may go out of my way to give you more work. Friendly, fast service, and great prices!!

Went by there today with a flat tire for my lawnmower. I had 3 yards to mow today and needed it repaired as soon as possible. The guys at Abercrombie tok it straight back and repaired it right away. I was in and out in about 15mins and even enjoyed some good conversation while I was at it. They got me fixed up and I was able to get right back to work. Thanks for the great service!

Awesome people! Very nice! We thought we have a serious issue with our diesel truck and they quickly analyzed the problem, showed us what needed to be done and got us back in the road quickly. We highly recommend anyone in the are to use them if they need any work done on their vehicle or need tires!! If we lived in the area, they would definitely be our go-to for all automobile work.

Bad experience.They are unprofessional mehanics,not working,just playing in games,the worst shoopIn 100 miles, or less, see the pictures below.They do not know how to make truck and trailer aligment.Never gonna come anymore

Went there yesterday to get a tire for my lawn mower. They had it in stock thankfully. It took about 10 min to get the tire. They sent me down the back gravel road to find their shop to have them put tire on the rim. I pulled in front of shop and sat there about 10 min waiting for someone on staff to acknowledge my presence and someone finally did. He took the tire and put it on the rim in about 10 min.Very laid back business. Was happy they had my tire. Not the best service but they were ok I guess.

I've been buying my car and truck tires from Abercrombie for years and they provide excellent service. When I had a blow out on our boat trailer (while towing the boat) on 72 west of Athens, my first thought was call Abercrombie since I didn't have a spare and no tools in the truck. They arrived in about 45 minutes and had me back on the road in no time. The cost for replacement of both trailer tires was very reasonable. They run a great business that believes in building a long term relationship with their customers and the owners are deeply involved in the day-to-day work.

First time using this service. They were awesome!!!! Could not be happier with the service. My 2000 Chevy impala was overheating and I had taken it to 3 different places. Not only were they less expensive but Seth fixed my aircondtioner and had me back running the same day. Seth you are a rock star!!! Thank you

These guys are awesome! An honest business that goes the extra mile to take care of their customers. Called late on Friday afternoon needing an irregular size truck tire and they had in-store the next day at 8:30am ready to install. Prices were cheaper than anyone else and got me in and out quickly. Will def be back.

This Business is very close to my house But I called them and just needed a simple tire patched. When I got there they sent me to the back building where they do the repairs. I stood there for 20 minutes, with their employees walking all around me and no one said a word to me or even acknowledged my presence. So I left and went to another business and was in and out in 30 minutes. I don t know if this is a typical experience at this place or not, but that does not work for me and there are too many other places to take my vehicles for tire repair, so I will just use one of them from now on and pass on Abercrombie

Great fast service. I needed a motorhome tire balanced, I thought. It was good. they did not charge me and sent me on my way. I will definitely go back for tires. I have 7 vehicles and 2 trailers.

Based on the other reviews for this shop, you may have a better experience than me, but my experience with Abercrombie tire was very negative. The workers were very rude (told me they thought my car looked weird, told me I should ve chosen a different engine and transmission, etc). They were also very lazy and hard on my wheels/tires (instead of setting them on the ground, they slammed them down to the point where they bounced on the ground). I later took my car to another shop to get my wheels balanced, and the other shop told me that the balance was WAY off (probably from being slammed on the ground). Based on my experience, i do not recommend Abercrombie tire.

Horrible place to do business when getting diesel repair done. I paid right at $700.00 in 24 hrs. for my truck to be fixed and had to have it towed to their shop twice. Then when I spoke to the owner about the warranty on their work and it being cleared twice by their mechanic and the issue continuing both times I picked up my vehicle he proceeded to yell to me that he never said anything about a warranty and hang up on me. Then my wife called to see if she could reason with Jim the owner and he felt it necessary to yell and cuss her. I also have a friend who is employed there and he has informed me previously that none of the mechanics are ASE certified and that most of the employees use various types of drugs at the workplace but yet Jim Abercrombie has a plack on display in the front office that states the mechanics are ASE certified and it is a drug free workplace. This has been my first and last experience with Abercrombie Commercial Tire located in Athens, AL

Mr. Abercrombie is kind and has done a wonderful job renovating the place. Prices are great, have bought many tires and he even picked up some Crimson Tide tires up for us when he was visiting another city! It's worth the drive from Decatur.

Abercrombie is absolutely awesome. Mr. Jim is one of the kindest men I ve ever met! He bends over backwards to help in whatever way he can. Him and his family have been close family friends to my family for a long time! He does everything within his power to help people! Highly recommend them. The tire techs and mechanics in the back are very professional and know their stuff when it comes to mechanics, especially bo, theirs never been a problem with my truck that he couldnt solve easily!

Traveling from Montgomery to Nashville on business. Had a flat and was fortunate to find these guys. In and out in about 15 minutes. My impression is these are good , hard working guys. Price was low, service was great.

I brought in a wheel to get patched and the black aftermarket wheels had no scratches when I brought it to them and after I got it back there are 3 chunks missing from the face of the wheel, not just scratches but legit chunks of aluminum chipped off, definitely would not ever go there again
