I visited on a business trip. The rooms were clean and the amenities were solid. The bed kept sounding like they were going to break, the water pressure in the shower was finicky, and sound carried from outside the room at manageable enough level. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was kept clean and tidy. The price was a bit higher compared to other hotels I've stayed at in the past, but overall not terrible.

A nice, quiet hotel on the outskirts of Andalusia. All the staff I interacted with was lovely, especially the older lady who had cooked all the breakfast! My room was in pristine condition. As my boyfriend pointed out you have two options of luxurious views: either the ever-so popular John Deere lot or the decorative Trailer lot! Haha! The only complaint I would have would be some of the yogurts at breakfast were a few days expired.

Upon check-in, we were assigned the wrong room, which only had one bed instead of the two we had booked. Despite the attempt to rectify the situation with a cot, it was too small and continuously fell, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. As a result of the broken cot, we had to purchase a $150 air mattress for a comfortable night's sleep, adding to our overall dissatisfaction. Moreover, we were given a handicap room, resulting in a very low shower that made it challenging to use.Adding to our disappointment, the blinds in the room were broken, preventing us from blocking out the morning sun. It was particularly frustrating to discover that the hotel was aware of this issue, as the controls were taped off with a sign that said "out of order." We were puzzled as to why the hotel knowingly placed us in a room with broken blinds without informing us.Additionally, despite the advertised breakfast hours until 9, we found most items already picked up at 8:45 on one occasion. What truly frustrated us was the lack of assistance from the staff. When we raised these concerns, the staff seemed unfazed and unbothered. Their response indicated a lack of urgency or concern for our experience. We were simply told that there was nothing they could do due to the hotel being fully booked. The suggestion to call ahead next time felt inadequate in addressing our immediate issues. As someone who has stayed at Holiday Inn hotels plenty of times prior, I understand that this experience wasn't the "norm" or up to Holiday Inn standards. However, this knowledge didn't take away from the frustration we experienced. I believe in constructive feedback, and I hope this can be an opportunity for improvement. I value your attention to this matter and trust that steps will be taken to enhance the guest experience at your hotel.

This is one of the nicest places you will ever stay. The reception area is so clean and comfortable.. The staff are very accommodating, professional, friendly (southern hospitality driven), hard working .. some of the most efficient people in customer service I ve ever seen.. coast to coast. It is spotless clean.. so well maintained everywhere on this entire property. The rooms are very nice, clean, comfortable and loaded with everything you need to stay for a week. The room staff ask everyday if i needed fresh linens, towels, cleaning or any assistance. Committed to high levels of cleanliness! A Bible.. telephone, alarm clock, hair dryer.. there were recycling containers everywhere to separate your plastics, they have ice machines, vending machines on each floor with a full self serve mini store downstairs.. they have guest laundry, a breakfast buffet that comes with your room. There is fresh fruit, fresh juice, fresh coffee.. tea bread, cereal, bagels, eggs, boiled, scrambled or omelets, sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, Chiobani yogurt.. dairy/non dairy products.. butter, cinnamon, honey, maple syrup.. coffee mate coffee creamer.. half & half.. friendly staff tidy inviting dining area with big screen.. office equipment downstairs.. parking is well lit.. A wonderful hotel. Very friendly staff; very professional. The breakfasts were very good.Rooms were very roomy, soft beds & pillows. Shower water warmed up, quickly.A/c really was nice and cold. The only knock I can find, they nvr would come in and empty trash; wouldn't restock toilet paper, or the tea, or coffee, once used up. They would restock the towels, very slowly, but they nvr would come get dirty towels. No room cleaning/bed making.I got stuck in elevator for 10 minutes; had to call front desk. Sounded like they hit door; it started right up.During our stay, while it was raining, and cooling, the fire alarm started going off. (We were told that some exposed wires in the attic had evidently collected some dust; setting it off.)Except for the few things I listed, this hotel is by far, the best I've ever stayed at. I would definitely stay here, again.Sincerely,Mark Granke

Arrived around 9pm on Tuesday for a business trip, walked in stood at counter for 5 mins while front desk finished sitting with her phone. No greeting. Gave my name, etc still no conversation from front desk. Stood awkwardly in silence as the front desk worker scrolled on the computer no explanation as to what was taking so long. Finally 15 mins went by handed my keys and received a handicapped room on bottom floor. Was told they were almost out of rooms even though my room was reserved weeks ago. Walls are super thin and people were slamming doors from the stairway directly across the hall. Haven t sleep in 3 days bed and pilllows so uncomfortable. Almost slipped getting out of handicap shower because water was all over the bathroom floor due to bad draining issues. Had to wake up for work at 2am on Friday called front desk and ask when fresh coffee would be ready he said 4:30 but I have hot coffee up here. I said awesome and preceded to the front to grab coffee. Got back to the room the coffee is ice cold and creamer is possibly bad. Needless to say I vomitted after 2 sips. I drink coffee all the time but since being here I haven t been able to have my morning coffee. The keurig brand of coffee is garbage or either the keurigs are really dirty. Worst TRIP EVER!!! I never write bad reviews but I could not let this go. I m in the service industry and a smile would be nice or even going the extra mile and taking 5 mins to make sure the coffee was fresh. I will be back to this town for the 5 weeks but I will never step foot in this hotel again. I get it s in the middle of nowhere but good service means everything. So glad this is my last night and as I am typing this someone has several dogs (supposedly this is not a pet friendly hotel according to the website) and they are barking and I have to be up at 2am again so I m sure another sleepless night!

This was a great hotel. Professional friendly employees, from front desk, to breakfast crew, to cleaning crew. Hotel provided additional help in their business centre.Room was clean, tidy. Everything worked. Not one fault in the bathroom and usually its something leaking, rusted, missing drain plugs, mouldy grout. Etc. This room and bathroom was great.I'll drive out of my way on future trips to stay here.

Wow! This is a great hotel! The rooms are so large, modern, and clean. We had 2 queens and a pullout couch in a standard room plus plenty of extra space to spread out. The beds are so comfortable! TV is huge. Microwave and fridge that work great. Breakfast was included and hot and great variety. Everything was so clean! I ve stayed in much more expensive hotels that weren t nearly as nice. I wish I could bring this hotel with me whenever I travel.

Great hotel ! Everything is clean and up to date. The rooms, bathrooms, refrigerator and microwave, breakfast area, lobby, fitness center, everything. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked great, the bathroom was spacious, and we were in a king suite so we also had a couch/sitting area. We were on the bottom floor (room 108) and we never heard noise from upstairs or anywhere else. There were plenty of choices for breakfast including fresh fruit and a one minute pancake maker :) Amy at the front desk, Mary and Sue serving breakfast, and several others we encountered (I didn't get names) were all super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to stay in the area.

My husband and I made a last minute unplanned stop here while traveling through the area and were pleased with our stay. The lady at the front desk was so kind, I can't remember her name (maybe Kathy? She works at another hotel as well). She could tell that we were stressed and so tired and she was able to find us a room and make it so easy for us. The room was very clean and nice. You can tell that they hotel has just been remodeled and it is nice. We were on the first floor so it was a little inconvenient to have to go the second floor for the ice, but I didn't get any choice. The only other complaint is the doors. They tend to SLAM when you leave or go in and that gets really loud when multiple doors and opening and closing. The breakfast that they offer was good. Great for a meal before you run! Would recommend them and we would stay again if we get through the area.

The thermostat is set at 73 for the "snow birds" is what the front desk told me. In the summer in Alabama. The way to turn it down and it stay that way is motion detected. Suffered for 4 days. Would have been nice to have been told that at check in

Our room was nice in size, water pressure was great. The room did smell a little strange, maybe moldy. The smell of cigarette smoke, especially in the morning.Front desk was willing to help. But he definitely was not happy about it. He was cursing up down hallway and back down. I guess he thought I couldn't hear him because he was in front of me. Not sure what was on his mind, bad day, didn't like other employees, IDK. It was not one curse word, but multiple. The breakfast was the norm for hotels free breakfast.

The facility is brand new clean. Rooms are well designed with Keurig and microwave. The best thing about this hotel however is the staff.Diane greeted us like family, Miss Sue provided a nice breakfast even during construction. Paulette had our room clean as a pin. Kim made sure we were completely satisfied. All the ladies were extremely polite and professional. Most importantly, they made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We will definitely refer to friends and family.

This is our 3rd time staying here at Holiday Inn express. Every time it's never a 5 star We have issues with Drunk criminals the city police have dropped off for different reasons along with mental issues about 3 years ago. Our recent stay oct 7 and 8 was okay. Had problems both days with electric keys had to go downstairs 3 times to get new keys. had no maid service on Saturday nor fresh towels put in room. Went down on sunday morning for Breakfast at 820 and it was gone nothing to eat. Ask front desk and was informed that it ended at 9 and they would not cook anymore. It was a full hotel this weekend 10/9/22. common sense Cook more breakfast. The lady in the kitchen said she didn't care write a bad review. unfortunately this the best upscale Hotel in Andulusia that I am sure is owned by The patels They have let all the others get in rough shape. Beds were nice and rooms clean but customer service is lacking

In a quiet location outside of town. Clean, comfortable, and quiet room. Very comfortable bed and we loved the choice of pillows. Nice bed linens. Plenty of counter space, hooks and closet for hanging clothing. Very good hot breakfast. There wasn't anything that we didn't like!

Something kept going on and off all night that sounded like a freight train. Half way cleaned, bugs, sweaty smell in the hallways. Way to much money to have to sleep with bugs. I would check around before considering this establishment. I'll be leaving a review on trip adviser as well and if you have a bad review I suggest you do the same because that's really where it matters.

They have remodel and brought this beyond the bar. With the new lighting and appliances, it's very nice. The rooms were clean and fully stocked. The staff was great, efficient and knowledgeable. Thanks Kim and Amy for making my stay pleasurable! We will be back!

Just when I thought I was beginning to like IHG and these brands I stay here. Why the two stars? I don t need grief because I didn t book directly with IHG, I paid for a room and am a customer, like everyone else. The bigger issue, just before I lay down in bed to sleep I shouldn t see a 2 1/2 roach on the floor waiting to run into my mouth while I snore or who knows what. This is probably the best hotel this city offers so I can t imagine how bad the others might be. I would expect that IHG corporate has brand standards that include regular pest control. Apparently not. Sleep with one eye open here or avoid it unless your leaving Joes apartment.

While the bed linens were clean, that s all it had going for it. We booked 3 rooms, put my family members names on their rooms but at check-in they couldn t find their rooms at check in by using their names. We were given non-suites but charged for suites that we booked. Fridge didn t work in one of the rooms. We were over charged on two of our rooms and the hotel refused to credit us and corporate requires the individual hotels to take care of it so it was never resolved. Unless you want the wrong room, non-working items, and over-charges I do not suggest this hotel. Not to mention we were never able to find a manager when we asked. Front desk wait times were also quite long at check in. Customer service is non existent.
