I found Nick's via a submission on Yelp. We talked and I told him what exactly I needed, a replacement trans and a diagnosis of check engine light. Nick diagnosed the emissions flow was clogged at the catalytic converters, which matched what I already knew because I had Advanced Auto pull the codes for me before I took the car in. This is how I knew Nick was being honest with me. Nick found me a used transmission w/ warranty for over $1000 LESS than everyone else I spoke with. Dealership cats were way too expensive so I found some after market parts and Nick promptly ordered what I wanted and put them on. My car now runs great and I feel I got a great deal and the service and communication was excellent.

I have a Honda HRV not really supposed to be towing with it, but I needed to carry my wheelchair with me. I contacted Nicks Auto, he found a hitch that could be installed. He installed the hitch and the rack to hold my Wheelchair. Very happy with the employees there. Very reasonable.

Nick, the owner, is very hands-on and wants his work to speak for itself - almost to a fault! I was quoted an insane amount at the dealership to replace my engine and Nick saved me a ton of $! I didn t want a brand new engine bc my vehicle is a 2013 and I had anticipated selling it before the engine blew. He asks for $ up front so that he can order the parts - in this case, a $6,500 engine I found online. When the engine arrived, Nick installed it only to find out it was faulty. That actually happened 3 times. The selling company wouldn t give him a refund so he had to continue to order from them until he received a viable one. The problem with this is the amount of time this process takes - 1.5-2 weeks for engine to arrive, 17+ man hours to put the engine in the vehicle only to find out it s faulty, another 17+ man hours to uninstall it, a week to ship this heavy part back to the seller, they inspect it for another week or so to make sure it wasn t damaged by the mechanic and then they send a different engine; the whole process repeats. That means each engine replacement took a month. With that being said, it took 4 months to replace my engine, BUT the thorough work and the savings was worth the wait.Nick is a stand-up guy and anytime that my husband or I reached out, he was quick to respond. I don t know many mechanics who would do that. I m very happy with my new engine!

We paid Nick up front to replace our transmission with a new Ford transmission. He told us he replaced it three different times with a new transmission and the transmissions were all bad. We asked for documentation of a purchased transmission multiple times and he would not/could not give us any documentation. After six months and multiple issues, we chose to have our car towed from his shop to a Ford dealership. They determined there was not a new transmission in our car and it internal failure. We had to pay the dealership to replace our transmission. We asked for a refund, but no luck.

Former employee Head mechanic at this shop. Please beware! I know as when I worked there that 3 customers was taken advantage of and ripped off.1 of them the owner Nick put black glue over the check engine light on a Land Rover and another got scammed on a transmission and a guy on some injectors in a diesel. There is a Silver ford f150 there that says has a new transmission but if you look under it it's the same transmission.Along with the owner Nick being sued years prior for scamming a girl on seadoos and then alabaster police had to step in cause he traded a customers Bronco for a race car wrapp to wrapper mike. Truck was stolen by Nick!I can go on and on about what I know as being the former mechanic before I quit. Also have proof of drugs being dealt out the shopped the Hispanic guy there bringing the drugs.Nick has also been arrested by chilton county after threats to me and my family.Just a friendly reminder do a background on the shop you use. If you feel comfortable with Nick's please double check your car for the new parts. As of me quitting the shop numerous customers has came forward about the work and experience they have had with this shop. Thanks,

I am very pleased with the work this shop preformed, & the price. I found him to be trustworthy & as efficient as possible. All the negative posts are found on every mechanics page, not all part are created equal & as we ALL know some people you can't please, this guy is trying to make a living just like the rest of us, I have a 2014 F250,...I know I'll be back to his shop without hesitation.

This place is as shady as a shop can be.
