The woman who was working Sunday was awful. She was rude and she had a nasty attitude. We left without buying anything because of her.

Worst gas station in Shelby county. Every single time I ve been there (which hasn t been much) the cashiers are so rude and nasty. I will run out of gas before I ever give them my business, again. They refused to accept my passport as a valid ID, even though it s recognized as an international class A identification. This last time I just went, they refused to sell my 56 year old mother cigarettes because her ID had just expired. We all set everything we had back down and left without getting our gas there, either. I will never be back.

This Murphy is located in the Promenade shopping center at the Alabaster/Highway 31 exit on interstate 65. It wasn't too busy at midday Tuesday. The prices are about average. It is about midway around the shopping center access road. It has nonethynol gas if you prefer.

Great service and cheap gas. Now the prices inside the store are a different story. I paid $8.47 for a can of bbq pringles, a hot sausage, and a kiwi monster drink. The math doesn't make sense.

I have going here about 3 to four days a week, for a few years now so that s gotta tell ya something right there! The staff is helpful, and friendly, they have good gas prices, and just happens to be very conveniently close to my house. My only concern is their extremely low employee retention rate. That s never a good sign. But overall, I ve never had a bad experience there.

Best gas prices around this area. However they need to get their sign & their pump pricing together. This day the pump shows 2.79 a gallon but I was charged 2.99.

Always busy but never seems to be too long of a wait. The staff are always helpful and friendly. They offer great deals for when you buy things in multiple so you save money buying the things you were gonna buy anyway. I've been told it's 1 of the few gas stations that are supplied by all American oil but I haven't double checked. Highly recommend this gas station

Would have given it a zero if I could. The lady was completely rude. I was there to get gas and buy a pack of cigarettes. I am 44 years old and she told me I had to have my license so I went out to the car to get it and discovered that it expired on the day we buried my mother which was less than 30 days ago. I believe you have 30 days from the time it expires to get it renewed but that s beside the point. she was very ugly and hateful and the guy behind me said he would go somewhere else to and left. Needless to say I will never use that place again.

The store manager Karen is the greatest!! Very helpful, always kind and smiling. And the younger girl late at night, not sure if name(was there Tuesday & Wednesday after 10) is the friendliest! Make you smile and laugh after a bad day

I am sitting here at the alabaster,al.location on a Sunday morning needing gas&they are not open, several cars has pulled up & gone ,I thought they were opened on Sunday but I guess not can someone please let me know what's going on terrible on whoever part,unless they are not open on this Sunday,I been sitting here almost 2hrs.

I got here about 5:50 thinking it was supposed to open up at 6. It is now 6:09. And it is still not open now. I could have got gas somewhere else but chose to do it here because I really like this place. So now I'm going to have to leave and go get gas somewhere else. Whoever was working today. Was already here because I saw the vehicle. I'm not sure it takes that long to open up.

This place is horrible the bathrooms are absolutely horrendous you can t hardly even hold your breath going in and it s this way all the time. The coolers are always broken and the beverages are always hot and they re constantly trying to push extra cigarettes on you even when you don t smoke. Unfortunately it s a good place to stop after a movie I don t suggest even buying gas here it s just not a good place.

Gotta love a gas station that has OPEN 24 HOURS signs posted on the building but closes at 11 pm I do believe. Not really sure what the hours actually are. I told them they should take those signs down but as of last visit they were still up. Hopefully they will eventually be removed

I tried to tell the clerk that the chicharrones I bought were STELL. She told me it was normal and I had picked the wrong product. Basically it was my fault that their product was OLD. I didn t want my money back, just wanted eatable chicharrones. I left the bag of chicharrones with her. Won t be back.

the new manager is why there are not more employees there. the lines are usually longer than grocery stores and you find one employee, guess it how much you think your time is worth to you. And oh, they are now carding people over 50yrs, old to buy cigarettes, just make the line that much longer. What ever happened to a little COMMEN SENSE.You will never find it here.

If I could give a 0 star I would. I stopped here to fill my car up, after pumping gas I went in to buy tobacco products and was immediately refused service with no reasonable explanation by Karen. I even had my ID out and ready.If you want anything from Murphy s DO NOT stop at this one.

Sorry about this everyone... but have anyone had any problems with service? Reason. I am asking is because it seem as thou they don't open on time and they seem to never stay open till closing! Not to say they are very rude to customers! Not trying to complain because this place use too have good employees

Murphy has a somewhat decent reward system. Their stores usually clean and well-lit. Their gas prices are normally cheaper than others.

Took notice to the upgrade to the building, great job and much so appreciate the workers that had to redo the building from a walk up to a walk in. Just love what they did with it. Thanks no standing outside in the cold or rain anymore

Great coffee quick stop (Styrofoam cups tho :/), great price for gas, friendly employees, clean but a little hard to navigate when it's busy.

Very poor customer service. On Friday May 4th at 947 am the person that waited on me was rude is rude and seem angry she has to be there. I know it s a lack of social skills and education.

The price went up and I didn't notice until after I got gas. They didn't have it posted clearly. I still get gas here most of the time because they have the lowest price per gallon.

It's a gas station. It has gas as all gas stations should have. They also usually have the best prices in the area.
