Just a great experience! I'd been looking for someone to work on my diesel for 2 months with no luck. They found the hard to get parts and was finished in 2 days! Also purchased tires while it was there, my new go to place for everything!!

These guys rocked my repair on my radiator. Out of town emergency and they got me right on and out on the same day. Pricing was amazing. In addition friendly staff, customer service oriented and the Owner will go to great lengths for customer satisfaction (he gave me a ride back "home"), Im an average size transport company and they understood that I had customers waiting on me. THANKS AGAIn and keep up the good work. Def will be back if I am in the area again and in need.

Being new to Shelby County, Alabama, I didn't know who to trust with my truck repairs. From the time I walked into Melton automotive, I felt comfortable leaving my truck for repairs. I've owned this truck for 9 years without major repairs. The service advisor call me with what needed to be done and the work was done in a timely manner. My truck was returned to me clean and with what was left in it. This is a shop I can honestly recommend.

My wife and I recently had an excellent experience with Melton Automotive. After breaking down on our way home from vacation, we had the car towed and enlisted their help with a couple different major repairs. Derek, at the front desk, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and cordial. They took our car in on Tuesday (despite being very backed up with customers) and had us back on the road by Wednesday afternoon! Shane was also very knowledgeable and friendly. I could not sing higher praises for this company, their employees, and the owner himself who helped work on our car. 5/5!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Employees were friendly and did what I asked. They had excellent, timely communication and charged what I thought was a fair price. Shop goes above and beyond. Had my truck in for alignment and tires, I put my spare in my bed for them to put best used tire on spare rim. They took the time to remount spare under truck and put tools to drop spare back in cab where they go, all without asking. As a father of 4, my "other job" is basically a fleet manager. A fleet is only as good as the folks keeping it running. Melton's does that for me. Always above board and always lets me know their viewpoint on the situation. If you approach this relationship as a partnership, operating within the confines of the your budget and their budget, you will find a most beneficial outcome. Keep it up Melton's!

I just started using Melton's a few years ago and will keep using them. Trying to maintain older cars and these guys are top-notch. Always pleased with the work results, costs and how quick the turn around is. Melton Automotive is great including Doug and everyone he has on staff. My wife and I have used Melton for over 13 years and they have worked on all of our cars at a reasonable cost. They have always been honest regarding work estimates for service/repair and have completed each repair thoroughly.

New to Melton's, we have used them twice now took great care of us/our cars and they haven't tried to find a list of other things we need done to pad the bill. There prices are the average in our area. Nice staff, oh and if you don't live too far away they will drive you home after you drop of your car, nice service not offered by many places.

Mr. Melton is a Toyota guy but they work on other makes as well. Have had them service both my Dodge Ram pickup and our Honda Odyssey. Always courteous. Great service!

I am so disappointed in Melton Automotive for the way they treated my friend Shelby. They replaced a back battery & didn't connect one of the wires. Her car wasn't running right & when she called about it she was told her car was too dirty & they weren't going to help her. She has a service dog & she is disabled so she isn't able to keep her car as clean as she would like to & doesn't have the money right now to pay someone to do it. Instead of helping her Melton compounded her problems b/c she had to have her car towed to somewhere else, pay another diagnostic fee & fix the problem y'all created (wire not placed back). How can y'all treat someone like that. It is beyond rude & disgraceful.

Spent over $1200 and never got the problem fixed. Brought my car in and told them exactly what was going on. They misdiagnosed it twice and charged me over $1200. After the second time, I decided to tackle the problem myself. 2 hours of researching forums and a $15 sensor from autozone fixed the problem. Steer clear of this shop. Their mechanics are not properly trained.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Melton's was recommended to me from a friend who has been using them for years. My car was repaired and returned in an expected time frame and cost under estimated price. 04 Tundra. Very pleased and will be back when necessary.

They are honest, knowledgeable & very friendly. I prefer taking my Toyota Highlander to them rather than Hoover Toyota. I am 100% satisfied with the quality of service. I highly recommend that you take your vehicle to them!

I recently took my older model truck in for extensive repairs. The work was expertly done exactly as agreed to, at the cost agreed to, and in a timely manner.I will definitely be a regular customer.

Not real happy with them. Every time I go there, they always find another problem with my car. Told me I needed a power steering hose. The hose alone was 100 and 200 for installation. I got the hose for 43 at O'Rileys and had it installed for 75.I will not be going back to them.

The best repair shop I've ever encountered. I only take my cars to Melton...professional, never try and sell you things you don't need, on-time, and great service. I've been a client for over 5 years and will NEVER have my toyota's serviced at a dealership again (except for recall items). I've had this shop do everything from rebuild a 6 cyl. Cressida engine, timing belt replacement on my Sequoia (done once at a dealership, which was badly botched), brake work, oil changes, etc. I highly recommend Melton Automotive.

Poor communication and double talk - two bad experiences in a row. I would steer away from this place. Maybe they were good at one time but not any more. I want to do loyal business with an honest repair shop. This isn t it!
