Good people. I've used them a number of times on boat upholstery, and once for a car, going back at least ten years...they take time to make sure the colors and texture match as well as possible.Recently I left a boat cushion to be re-covered and left another to use as a model. Whether they were trying to do a better job than I desired or we mis-communicated they recovered both cushions. Before I even had a chance to get too frustrated the owner owned the problem and didn't charge for the second cushion. I very much appreciated a swift resolution to an honest mistake. I'll certainly use them again and be certain we understand each other.

I just moved back into our house due to a house flood and had to buy another leather couch. My 2 year old ended up marking all over that brand new leather within three days of receiving the couch! Mr. Weaver saved our cushions and managed to complete all the sewing and color matching right before Christmas! I will most definitely be returning and still have extra leather hide just in case another accident happens. Thank you so much for helping me!

I called to ask the company about re-covering the bench seat/fold-out bed in my horse trailer s camper in early September. I let them know I was camping soon and asked if it could be done by October 1st. They told me it would probably be done but couldn t promise, which is fair enough. I left the sofa with them about 9/7. They said they would call for a credit card number for materials when it was time to complete the project, and gave me a quote. In early October I still hadn t heard from them to even get a card for the materials, so I called. No return call. Finally, the next week, I was called by Scott to get my credit card. The price was higher than the original quote, which he said was because materials had gone up. By now, the cost to re-cover the sofa was going to be greater than just buying a brand new one from the manufacturer. However, I was assured the materials would be far superior so I agreed. The next week Scott called to say it was already finished because they found some leftover material from a previous job. If that was the case, why was I still charged more for the materials? By this point, it had been six weeks so I didn t say anything. It simply wasn t worth it. The people there are nice enough but the price increase seemed unwarranted.Sadly, on the camping trip I wanted the cushions redone for, I was in a major accident on my horse and sustained a broken leg. I was camping by myself, and after driving myself to and from the ER with a broken leg and no more than aspirin for the pain (I was driving), I had to pull myself up backwards onto the upper camper bed in horrible pain. Honestly not sure how I did it, except I was exhausted and couldn t stand the thought of sleeping on the hard floor. It would have been a game-changer if the sofa had been done by the maybe date and I could have slept on it instead. All that to say, if you re in a hurry, I d look for someone else even though the sofa looks fine.

Owner was exceptionally helpful and patient. Answered all my questions, took my order sometime back and was a pleasure to work with. They do some great work here and I've seen some really high dollar RVs and personal vehicles in the work is impeccable. Highly recommend to anyone needing upholstery work done.

Might be a good place but we will never know because we will not darken their door again. Went by in Dec and the owner looked at our job, a motorcycle seat. He quoted us a price and ask if we could wait until after the first of the year ('22). Fine with us. Called in Jan to check for a possible date. Left name and number and reason for call. Waited two weeks, no call. Went back to the business early Feb, talked to lady. Left name, number and informed her just wanted to know if they were interested in doing the job or not and if so, when! She assured us the owner would call the following week. Now middle if Feb and have not recieved a call or any other contact. Would highly discourage anyone from using this business as they seem to have no regard for anyone!

Recently completed a transaction with Scott and his team and I m beyond impressed. My project was a custom motorcycle style seat to be recovered and have custom embroidery added. Scott not only did a fantastic job suggesting design updates on converting material but also used his background in exercise science to add structure to the seat which improved comfort and safety for us while riding! This was above and beyond what I expected from an upholstery shop. The shop provided an accurate upfront quote and we discussed progress along the way. High quality material, good workmanship, reasonable turnaround time and a pleasure to work with.

Scott and the guys do great work. I took 11 pieces out of my Moomba boat in the middle of summer and had them back in less than a week, and they look awesome. They were all 2 color scheme pieces. Highly recommend l2weaver.

I have dealt with Weaver twice this year and both times the results were better than I could have hoped for.He stops what he is doing and answers all my questions and then immediately fixed my problems. The pricing is beyond fair and I will not think twice about going to see him the next time.

What an amazing job Leave To Weaver did transforming this 1940 s chair. It belonged to my Grandmother and meant the world to me. I can t say enough about the quality, professionalism and all around great job would use them again for sure!!!

I found Alea leather on the web and approached Scott about helping me. Scott worked with me to come up with custom seats for my jeep. We came up with a custom seat design and Scott worked with Alea leather to order the seat covers. After we received the custom jeeps covers, Scott installed the seats covers and seat heater. Scott team did an EXCELLENT job installing the seat covers. I would highly recommend him. He also build custom door panels for the jeep.

If you are like me you like finding and dealing with local hometown people who you can develop a trusting and long-term relationship with them. I have done business with Mike and Jaimee Barrett of CarCare in Hoover for a number of years and they have never steered me wrong. Recently they referred me to Scott Weaver who owns "Leave It Two Weaver Upholstery" in Alabaster, Alabama to have a new headliner replaced in a vehicle and possibly reupholster the seats.Scott Weaver lives in the community and has operated in Helena for a number of years before moving his business to Alabaster just a couple of years ago. Located near the intersection of highway 68 and highway 11 it was easy to locate and get to his business. He listened to what I needed and not only did he not attempt to direct me to a more expensive solution he provided me with a great detailing company there in Alabaster who did a great job of cleaning the vehicle. The headliner was installed in a timely manner and when a minor tweak needed to be made there was no hesitation on their part.If you are looking for a fair businessman in Shelby county who will treat you right and work to meet your needs I highly recommend Scott Weaver and "Leave It Two Weaver Upholstery" for any recovering needs you may have, be it a vehicle, boat or commercial business.

Very nice and helped restore a chair cushion quickly in a matter of minutes. Talked to us every step of the way. The price was right and if you want expertise. They are the ones who can help u out. Restaurants, cars, boats, furniture. Really cool skills.

You do not want to use these people. I called 3 times, sent a text message as instructed on their recording, a week and a half later I have not heard from these people. I guess they have enough business that my business is to petty for them. Should have known when no one answers their phone!!!!

Had my motorcycle seat upholstered. They did a great job and far more comfortable while keeping it roughly identical to OEM form.

Lesson learned; I ll not use this upholsterer again. Incredibly overpriced and the results were sloppy - mediocre work. I had to take it to an upholsterer with more experience to do it all over and for half the price.
