My work vehicle was taken here to be fixed after I hit a deer I didn t pick the location but I didn t complain either. 3 months later I finally get my work van back for the air not to work!! AND the driver door panel is broken idk how it got broken when the front end of the vehicle was damaged not the door. No I didn t bother to contact them due to it being my work vehicle and me knowing it s gonna take forever to fix it!! With that being said body shops need to take accountability for parts on and parts off!! I can speak on this because I did it for 10 year!! Once you break those grommets after taking panels off they can t be reused. It s not just the grommets it s the actual panel that broken and still attached to it. There s no way a professional body shop doesn t know this BUT I m starting to see the guys are just snatching this apart with no knowledge of how to!! Take your vehicle at your own risk

The mechanics at A to Z Auto Repairs are excellent. I had some tough parts to find but Chris Jones worked hard to find what was needed to get the right parts to get me back on the road again! My mom and I use this place last month and we re confused and offended! The techs didn t provide any info on costs! Tech asked to check over engine and just LOOKING at it costs us hundreds! They didn t tell it would cost hundreds, plus the actual repairs. We felt dragged through the mud with this place. If you use, ask every question possible and demand pricing up front! They will Jack up costs on you!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Always did great work when I would have to take our company's work trucks there. They really know their stuff and could fix almost anything. I currently have my personal vehicle being worked on there now and have had issues communicating with my insurance company in a timely enough fashion. I inconvenienced them and Chris was still understanding and talked to me about my vehicle was completely busy. Great group of people and place to take your vehicles.

Friendly, accommodating, professional, fast and efficient! It was my first time there, and they treated me like I'd been coming there all my life. It was a GREAT experience, all the way around, from dropping off my truck to picking it up, (they even offered to drop me off at my house/pick me up when it was ready!) including the cost. My hat's off to Chris and his staff! There are a few other places around here that should follow their lead... Thanks, folks! You have a new loyal customer!

My wife and I were traveling with our camper and our GMC started running rough with very little power. I called on the road and and brought our truck in the next morning. They gave us a ride back to the campground and had the truck done by late afternoon. I couldn t have been happier. One person s comment was they were fair, honest and competent and I couldn t agree more. Excellent service, professional and everyone we encountered were courteous and knowledgeable.

*****PROS: THIS COMPANY IS GOD-SENT, KIND, TRUSTWORTHY, RESOURCEFUL, INFORMATIVE, AUTO-EXPERTS, EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE.*****CONS: NONE!*****HERE'S OUR 5 STAR REVIEW:My Mom and I would like to take a quick moment to THANK Chris Jones (owner), and his AMAZING Mechanics and Staff at A to Z Auto Repair and Towing in Alabaster Alabama!Long story short, I am a Single woman and my Mom is a Senior Citizen and Widow (My parents are Air Force Retirees).When my Dad was alive, he could always rely on A to Z Auto Repair & Towing in Alabaster AL to provide excellent and trustworthy service!My Dad passed away 6 years ago; recently, my Mom had trouble starting her Chrysler 300.Immediately, my Mom had her car towed to "a different auto repair shop". The other repair shop stated that they did not specialize in the type of repair that was needed, so they advised that she take her car to the Dealership to get it repaired.My Mom was in despair and took heed to that advice. She had her car towed to a local Chrysler Dealership.Without any resolve, her car remained idle at the Dealership for approximately 3 weeks without repair!The Dealership's Service Advisor kept telling her week after week that they were waiting for a part, and that her car would not ever run without that part again (her car only has approximately 55k miles)!After witnessing the frustration it was causing my Mom, I prayed and kindly asked her if I could assist her with this matter---- by calling that local Chrysler dealership to get the part number and to speak to that Advisor She accepted my assistance.After getting the part number, I called a different Chrysler Dealership in GA to speak with their Service & Parts Managers.Within minutes, both Chrysler Dealership Managers in GA---- informed me that the Part had been discontinued since last November 2021, and that there was no reason for her car to still be at the Chrysler dealership in AL if they could not find the part.After sharing this information my Mom, I recommended that we get her car towed back to her house until she found a solution.As I conversed with my Mom, I truly believe that---- THE GOOD LORD JESUS stepped in to remind my Mom about---- ALL of the GREAT Service my Dad had received from A to Z Auto Repair and Towing in Alabaster Alabama when he was alive!Immediately, we drove over to talk to Chris (the owner) about all that had happened Instantaneously, Chris gave us hope and assured my Mom that his Auto Repair Shop could find the part and repair it immediately! He even remembered my Dad! -Big Smile-Our prayers were truly answered!!!!!!!! Chris and Kim Jones, owners of A to Z Auto, are hands down the best of the best! I will never take my car to any other mechanic. I drive every day all day due to my job as a home health care nurse, my car is vital to me personally and professionally. As stressful as it is to be without a car or have car trouble, Chris and Kim made my experience with their company pleasant and easy. They are quick to respond and kept me informed on the progress. Whether is is general care for my car or something major going on A to Z will always be the place for me and my family!!

I've been taking my cars here for the last 4 years. I feel the people here are trustworthy. They've actually, more than once, recommended I NOT have thousands of dollars of work that wasn't necessary. It's great to have a mechanic that will only recommend things that need to be done instead of trying to pad the bill with pointless work. Some other shops will push you to do things that you don't need but not here.

Had an issue with transmission on my SUV, they did everything they could to fix it but it was apparent the damage was too great. Chris(the owner) gave me all options to replace or rebuild the transmission and then took a few extra days to have one of his mechanics drive the vehicle to make sure the repairs were done right! I have found a new place I can trust to fix my vehicles! Thanks Chris and team. BH

We LOVE A to Z Auto! Kim and Chris Jones are the sweetest people and such a pleasure to do business with. Chris has always be honest and upfront with our cars and Kim is so sweet to sit and talk with you while the guys are working on your car. I love that I can call A to Z and speak to Chris himself and tell him what's going on, no matter how busy he is. I trust A to Z with all my cars and HIGHLY recommend it to friends and family!

A-Z auto really means A-Z! I brought in cars, suvs, trucks, trackers, golf carts, lawn mowers, gas vehicles and diesels. They have fixed everything I have brought to them. Chris and his staff are always straight forward and honest with us. I have never had a business that I have specifically gone to until I started doing business with Chris and A-Z auto. I recommend A-Z to the family who owns 1 vehicle and to a company who has several vehicles. They accommodate everything! If it has a motor, A-Z can fix it!

I have taken both of my vehicles to A to Z and will not take them anywhere else. My alternator died in my SUV when I was driving home from work on I-65 South in 6:00pm traffic. I called A to Z after hours and Chris had a tow truck to me in 30 minutes. He called me the next morning to confirm that it was the alternator and kept me updated on the entire repair process. He had my vehicle repaired in less than two days and the price was much less than what I expected. I will only take my vehicles to A to Z. They are extremely friendly, treat you like family, and go above and beyond anything I had experienced at other auto repair shops. I absolutely recommend A to Z to anyone that needs anything done on their vehicle.

They were friendly enough but it took them over 7 hours to not complete an estimate for a tune up. They might do great work but don t expect it to be timely. The two stars are mostly because I was told we got bombarded at the end of the day but my car was there at the start of the day... just be up front with people about how long things will take. Not all people can afford to go that long without a vehicle.

Our car broke down in the evening while driving through Alabama and the team did an excellent job fixing our car first thing in the morning. Customer service was awesome and they didn't sugar coat about what needed to be fixed. The price was absolutely fair and thats very difficult to find nowadays. Wish we had honest folk like this back in our hometown. Thank you again!

A to Z is the only place I will take car. Chris and Kim are super awesome and sweet people! The guys that work there are great people. Everyone is so friendly!! Before I found A to Z I would go other places and I just felt like another number but I've been taking my car to A to Z for a few years now and I feel like a friend/family, they always ask me how my trips are and what I've been up to. Their knowledge on cars suvs etc are insanely awesome! They ALWAYS DO A 110%.

The BEST in the business! From the smallest to the largest problems you could have with a vehicle, Chris can take care of it. If you are looking for honesty, integrity, and stands behind their name then you have found the place. Just had my car repaired there again. Great quality of work, fair pricing. Takes time to get my car, but then it is older, so hard to get parts. Always satisfied.

Chris and his team diagnosed my engine being locked up. While giving me an estimate for a used engine and a time of completion he told me first to call the dealership to see if my car had a recall. Turns out he was right. I am now getting a brand new engine covered completely. If that's not a straight shooter I dont know what is. A to Z will be my new shop of choice. Thanks Chris and team. BB

Not only did they NOT put the car back together in order for us to pick up and transfer to a new location cause our warrenty was indeed active. They disposed of a key essential bolt we needed in order to make it work long enough to move.

They had my truck for electrical issues cause my truck wouldn t turn over. They had it for little over a month to two time went by so long I done forgot. Got my truck back and had problems once again the following week same issues. Said they would give me a quote cause they knew what the issue was several times and still haven t got an email or phone call backServices: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine tuning

OMG....I was stranded with a broken belt on my car, it was a Sunday afternoon. I called the shop the answering service gave me the owner s cell phone. I told him my problem. He came from home to help me. My wife and I are forever grateful to his dedication to helping others.Thank you Chris Jones and family.

They did work on my son truck charged him $1800 the truck stoped running a couple of days later" towed the truck back to their shop keep it for months and then told my son he had engine failer and wanted more money and when he refused they told him they were not responsible and towed his truck back home.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair
